just wanted to say i went to 3 places including one in MD to find a turbo xs fmic kit for my car...i called subie mods and called calivin, got all my questions answered called me back promptly and was willing to work on the price for me based on what ive seen elsewhere! also i overnight the part simply cause i couldnt wait to get it felt like a little kid getting his first bike. Needless to say i ordered yesterday later in the day and i recieved it today around 2 so less than 24 hours i had my kit!!!!! Much Better experience than I have had with Calvin and Subimods mods. I payed for my $300 item on March 16th, 2011 and I still have no received my part or any compensation. Very little communication and vague answers when give any at all. Do not buy or trust Subimods!!

I dealt with subimods for the first time this past week. A friend and I drove down to their store since they're only about 30 minutes away. I was a little skeptical when I saw the store due to it's size but when we went inside and started talking I was sold. My friend is looking for a TBE and I'm looking for suspension upgrades. Calvin took more than the time that would have been necessary to sit down and talk with both of us, explaining what would be a good route to take on both endeavors. I left having put a deposit on a whiteline alk that was shipped to them overnight and picked up by me the next day, and my friend is getting together the rest of the money for his TBE and catless uppipe.

I really like these guys, Calvin was knowledgable and extremely helpful to both of us. I'll definitely be going back to subimods for both their outstanding customer service and their unbeatable prices.

no reply's from subimods on here, not unlike in their email transactions. I'm hoping subimods can rectify the issue. I bought a rallitek rear sway kit on 26JUL2011. They informed me the next day that the kit was out of stock and would likely be 8 days before they would be in stock. 8 days later 04AUG2011 my card gets charged and my email inbox gets inundated with a series of emails from subimods saying that my order has processed, order has shipped, order has shipped. none of the "shipped" contained a tracking number. Sent them an email on 17AUG2011 to inquire about my order (website still says processing) and have recieved no response. I figured I would wait until the next monday (benefit of the doubt), and here we are today, 22AUG2011 and no sway bar/no reply. After my first purchase (supertones w/ bracket), i was excited. The last 2 orders have been less than satisfying. I'm glad "Neotokyo" had a good experience when dealing with them in person. I wish they would resume the level of service they demonstrated on my first order. Subimods, please respond if you see this! (i will be starting a thread similar to this on RS25.com, my primary forum, because i would hate for that community to have the same experience as me)

*note* - subimods has made contact with me on RS25.com and we will be working toward a resolution tomorrow when I give them a call. +1 for forum response... here's to a better future experience.

I've been waiting for a refund which Calvin agreed to and even sent me a PDF of the credit memo. That was almost 4 months ago and they have not replied to any of my emails since when asking for a status update. I ended up spending a good 15K worth of parts elsewhere due to this poor experience.

I would like to have this resolved with Subimods ASAP. I'm not a nobody on the Subaru online forums (I actively support the community). I have well over 200,000+ views on my STI journal www.waramp.com / youtube channel with a growing average 680 hits per day.

I have ordered plenty of parts from Subimods in the past but this time I'm done. I ordered a front lip and rexspeed CF front ducts for my 09 Sti back in May... At the time I was told the ducts were in stock, turns out no when I only received the lip in June.

Fast forward to two weeks ago, I received a email from Subi mods saying the front ducts have been shipped and here is the tracking number. I type in the tracking number and it doesn't exist...

I keep't getting vague response after vague response about the ducts, it's been 4 days now and still no response.

So in theory here is the story with my brake ducts

Yea they are in stock
Oh they are on back order in Taiwan should take couple weeks
Hey the ducts have shipped
Oh tracking number doesnt work? Let me contact Rexspeed

Me being very up tight and skeptical about ordering online I was looking for a vendor who had great reviews and alot of products on there site, the one place I found that had all of the parts I was looking for was Subimods with that being said I went through the forums looking for reviews to see if the subaru community liked them. Well I found this and a couple other threads where people had some serious issues so I was skeptical about ordering from them to say the least but I went ahead and placed my order on 9/30 for:

Turbo XS topmount intercooler
Invidia downpipe
Magnaflow CBE
Side feed 740cc injectors
GMS hood dampers
Perrin Oil catch can

I had been saving money for this order for a long a time and was really excited to finally get all of it, well my experience with them was nothing less the great, I got an email from Nick the next morning stating the GMS hood dampers were out of stock but everything else would ship today, by the end of the day I had two tracking numbers for my other products, recieved everything but the hood dampers on 10/1 and got an email from them yesterday saying they could not get the GMS hood dampers but would send out a set of Tein Hood dampers at no extra cost!!! well I got those today along with a few shirts and other assorted goodies so I must say that anyone looking to buy from them it seems like they have turned there customer service around for the better and would recommend them to anyone.

I recently ordered a a few things from Subimods.
Have zero complaints at all. They even went good for/replaced parts from the shipping companies miss-handling of my order (Fed-Ex destroyed my box and half the contents in it).
Will definitely direct as much of my future business towards Subimods as possible.

Disappointed. Ordered 1/25
I asked for confirmation and tracking 1/28 and got the confirm 1/29
Asked for tracking again 2/4
2/5 got a message that my order hadnt actually shipped bc of a qc issue with the powder coat
2/6 asked for a eta asking if itd be about a week and a half til it got to my door
no response til 2/12 in late afternoon confirming that timeline
2/19 (now) still havent received the order

... they offered to send a different color (at no discount) and to throw in a sticker or two... on $130 order. i know its not big money but i feel like its a big enough order that they could do better than a sticker to compensate for such delay...

We apologize for the delay in shipping the items, with the black being a big mover here we actually ran out before the powdercoater could get them back in. When we received the horn cages back in we realized that they had been done in a wrinkle finish vs the standard ultra flat color choice. This is the reason they were refused and re done, once again I do apologize for the delay. The lack of communication is concerning.

I order the hella supertones/bracket/harness from them on April 3rd. The next day I get an email that my order was shipped. I thought that is pretty awesome to I logged into my account to get a tracking number and my order is still listed as 'processing'. I emailed them to get clarification on whether or not my order shipped and if so to get a tracking number.

I've emailed them several times without any response and the website still lists my order as processing. Its a wait and see situation now I guess.

I should've read this vendor reviews before I placed my order.
I ordered my hella kit on 04/23, till today 04/26, I still haven't got a tracking number for my order.
Apparently Subimods is located in East Hartford CT, I'm literally 50 miles away from them. Why is it taking too long??
Never ordering anything from them again.

Anyone have experience with their "packages"?

These seem to be pushed pretty regularly. Aside from products like Hella horns [extremely popular and demanded], they have packages for not so popular items.

Our site lists we do have a processing time, as we make all of these products in house we do unfortunately experience delays occasionally. As far as lack of responses we respond to every email, our customer service has not been questioned since the change of ownership and I personally over see that my employees respond to any and all customer inquires. All orders for the horn kits have been shipped as of Friday and customers do have tracking information.

As far as our packages go which one would you be looking at?

I recently purchased a Perrin Quad Tip exhaust from Subimods. I dealt with Justin. He was very familiar with the product as well as other exhausts for Sti sedan. After a lot of research I got the best price from Subimods. Shipping was super fast; it arrived on the second business day. I have to say I was very impressed with their customer service as well as how quickly the product arrived at my door.

I had a problem with my recent purchase from subiemods. I purchased:
1. Hellas
2. Bracket
3. Wiring harness.

The box arrived on time and I eagerly opened the box. Inside I found
1. Hellas
2. Bracket
3. Wiring harness
4. Massive bug the size and shape of Satan's minions.

I screamed like a girl and had my man card revoked by my girlfriend. There should probably be some warning on the site that bug slaying may be required.


P.S. The horns worked awesome, thanks guys.
