Interestingly this looks similar to the Car Service Hiro kit.

Looks like I found my new front end, hood, and carbon bits.

^ if anyone knows anything about that lip it would probably be the owner (oddly, it doesn't look like it was the person that posted it). The bumper in the background is for sale here:

Great find.

Is it just me or is the bumper in the background also custom as ?

That is - the OEM JDM STI lip extends up the side of the bumper further than normal and wraps over the top of the bumper on the side.

edit: my japanese fluency using google translate is a bit rusty. Is that Yahoo! Auction Japan listing for both items (including the mystery lip) ? Said something about "canard is attached" and "carbon" (not relevant if just selling the bumper). Pricey for something in such rough shape

I think its 130-150 new from dealer. It came out not even a year yet. Can be easily bought. I would say its more uncommon than rare. Its a part in the jdm brz catalogue.

I would love one! Known about it since it was first announced. Thats the reason why I love Subaru, because they do cool stuff like that. You don't see many other automakers making neat stuff like that. I would just like to have it to hang it up on my wall.

Not really entire exhaust system but nice regardless Been debating of picking one of those up. Haven't found out if they PnP to USDM exhausts/aftermarket yet.

Got to know where to look chief. Got spec c rar lateral links, swaybars, got s203/204 dash, s203/204 shifter trim, s203/204 shift knob, S203 suspension, S203/204 front and rear damper. Currently eyeing VF42 from s203/204, seen those exhausts, seen seats and door cards, seen entire engines and drivetrains.

Just have to constantly watch for it and put money where your mouth is.

S204 exhaust is not that rare. Like 5-6 on sale now at yahoo auction japan. Their on S203 models too and think 1-2 other limited models. Hell might be able to buy it new off japanparts.com too. Regardless though nice piece.

Not rare in japan, but is a little more scarce. Just sold my s202 for a fair price. I will miss it and I will miss my subaru.

Wow. 5 or 6 that can be bought by hundreds of thousands of Subaru owners in North America with compatible cars?

Didn't say every Subaru owner could buy one just their starting to be more and more common.

http://www.japanparts.com/db/parts_d...=21&submit.y=6

^Titanium Exhaust. When you can buy it on japanparts.com new its not rare. Expensive? Yup. Is it rare because its expensive? Ok I can go with that. Is it rare because their limited quantities no. S204 steering wheel, s203/204 shift knob, s203/204 seats, etc those are rare because without the car you can't buy it new and have to search LONG LONG time to find it.

Yeah hate to be a buzz kill that's not as rare as you think it is. This thread is about parts that are super rare, coveted, or super hard to come by.
