As you may have assumed, i wanted a 9" wide wheel with minimal rim outside the fender well, hence the 45 offset
I can't figure out how you guys clear the strut/coil with that high an offset. I'm at +38 with a 255 and any more than -1* camber puts me right against the strut. How much inboard clearance do you have?

I have about 8mm of strut clearance in the rear, and since the fronts have camber plates I have a bit more clearance there.

The silver one is mine and the wrb is my inspiration sti.

Same rims on my car just not as low, or clean and different spacers

new setup 285/30/18, 18x10 +35, 5mm spacer

285/30 brand X vs 285/30 brand Y. HUGE difference in size

test fitting, pokes with no alignment yet.

stock body, inner/outer fenders molested

Not rubbing with only a 5mm spacer? My 275/35 star specs were about 3-4mm away from the coilover on my 18x10 +40s and we had to get creative to ensure that we had clearance on the inside (granted, mine is a completely different chassis). My rear still needs a roll, though and we're bringing the back up about 1/8-1/4 inch to match the front to keep from having to bottom out the front's collar.

Yup. +35 with a 5mm spacer has more room than +40. With just the camber bolt and plate trick I was yielding over 8mm of clearance between the strut body and 265/30 tire (shorter swift springs clear tires). Rear has no spacers

Your T2 collars are the rub point.

Shorter springs would fix it.

those you running 265 35's what are your wheel offsets?

i'm on 245 40 17 with +20 offset, my fenders are rolled and pulled like crazy and the is still a bit of poke. I want to run 265's but i'm afraid on my offset they would look dumb as hell with out fender flares.

+25 .. Yes I currently feel like it pokes too much but about to do some more rolling and a phone book pull. I feel like its right there but it need a little massaging. I am determined to get these 265s to fit under stock fenders and still be low.
