Thanks guys. Those were all great. It seems like the strut options are pretty popular, but everyone local went with coilovers. That's really my big decision right now, is which one to do. I am leaning toward coilovers, because I really would like it to be a lot more track capable, and I think in the long run that would be the better option.

Yeah, those are a little out of my price range. I haven't heard a lot of bad about the BC BR's though, did you not like them?

Coilovers more capable then the GTWorx/Bilstein struts and RCE springs? Good luck with that for anything less then 3X the cost.

Are they that good? I have nothing to compare them with because I don't know anyone with them.

They were ok, no major complaints, just did not handle the rough ct roads that well... There's a patch of uneven/bumpy rd leaving my job, followed by a stop light, and a few times coming to a stop felt like my car was skipping over the bumps and not gonna stop... Hard to describe what I mean, but after that I decided needed something better... The rce tarmac 2s have handled the same patch with no problems or issues

Yes, they are probably the best setup in that price range or anywheres near it... They were designed specifically for the 08+ wrx... Rce products are some of the best out for our cars... Def go with the bilstein/Rce spring setup, or if you want coils, def Rce tarmac 2s

They are pretty amazing to me.
Though in full disclosure, I don't have experience with coilovers, low end or mid/high end.
The people who have had experience do seem to like their abilities though.

Here is the original thread for them, from initial idea, all the way through development, first reviews up to latest reviews rather recently.
May take a little searching to find the actual user reviews, unless you start at the end and work backwards.

Default Noise Maker and Power maker. Cobb Sort SF

I noticed that the boost kicks in and then it just keeps going with this thing in. Love the sound and love the power!

Who keeps the stock breather thing in for fresh air?

I have a non-premium 2008 WRX and am looking for a lip, but I feel like almost all the lips I find are for the premium level. What's the difference in bumpers between a premium and base model that makes a premium lip incompatible with the base model? Anybody with a base model rocking any good lips? Thanks in advance!

Maybe somebody else could better answer the compatibility issue, but if I had a non premium '08, I'd just get the garage door lip.
