For people wondering if this is safe for their car.. The answer is , it depends on the driver

If my fiance and I both want to run, do we both need to register and just enter the same info?

Yeah, You'll both need to register, enter the same car info for both of you but You'll need to pick different numbers.

Anyone heading down from Chicago, are you leaving on Friday and staying the night somewhere or just super early on Saturday?

Spending Friday night somewhere close to there makes sense to me. I don't like the stress of waking up early and hauling ass to get to an event.

I don't think it makes sense this time.

2-2.15 hours from Chi with good pace is pretty close.I'll probably show up at 9am so leaving around 7am. It's not too bad.

On that note --- If anyone wants to get there early and help setup or volunteer in any way let me know. The smoother and faster we can keep things moving, the more runs everyone will get.

Just remember they are 1 hour ahead of Chicago time so if you leave at 7, it's like leaving at 8 over there. You would have to leave at 6 central time to be there at 9.

My boyfriend and I will help with set up in the morning, then he can probably help part of the day while I'm driving. What time will you be there?

I say do it. Jafrum.com has a $35 DOT approved helmet, it's only $50 to register, and you can drive the course however you want. I plan on taking it pretty easy as this is my DD. I convinced my girlfriend to try too. I just taught her to drive stick 6 months ago.
