In for an answer on the BPV T. I need a new one and can't find a cheapo replacement.

1/4" x 1/4" x 1/8" (or 3/16" also works)

This. I did mine this week and ended up having to get a universal t fitting from Napa that you cut to the size you need. But when I measured the hose sizes it was 1/4" X 1/4" X 1/8" like tiledend said.

Thanks, I found a 1/4" x 1/4" x 3/16" that works for now with some zip ties.

I need to find a good 1/4" X 1/4" X 1/8" for peace of mind. I went to 2 different auto stores here and they only have Vacu-Seal brand and none of the assortments have this size.

Good news is I ended up getting everything installed. Now running Defi oil pressure and Defi boost gauge in the SMY Cluster. I love it. One small thing I noticed. I think I have an old boost gauge as the back light is a little more orange than the pressure gauge's more red light. They look just slightly off of eachother. Can only tell in person, I tried to get a picture of it but it doesn't show.

I used the T that came with the gauge. I just used zip ties on them and haven't had an issue

OCD is the abbreviation for obsessive compulsive disorder.

https://www.google.com/search?q=obse...fari#itp=open0

Some people with the disorder like to have a certain order to things. Everything has to be neat and it has a place. This is why people say someone has OCD when they do something organized and clean.

I have heard of O.C.D. before. It was a quote I heard from someone. I don't know who said it, but I always chuckle when people say someone is O.C.D. and all that person did was just do a neat and tidy job, especially when it comes to wiring. Being neat and tidy makes your life a whole lot simpler down the road if you ever had to take things apart again. I admire a person who does a clean install job. Having worked on running new wiring on others cars, I'd make sure the job was done properly, even labelling aftermarket wiring jobs for any future technicians so they could easily identify what it was for and not waste time tracing wires.

Haha sorry about that. Went right over my head. Sounds like something Zach Galifianakis would say.

Did you properly ground it? Black wire to metal ?

Each fuse tap (add-a circuit) requires two fuses in it. The one directly over the slot uses the original fuse and the one offset uses the fuse for the device. Just checking to make sure.

I see a lot of oil pressure setups, is there a large pro for this versus the oil temp gauge? Which would be the best in general?

Oil pressure can show oil loss. So if you have a leak, itll tell you. Itll also tell you when oil has warmed up because the pressure will drop

Would it be safe to run a T fitting on the front gallery to run both a pressure and a temp sensor off of? Something like http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/1-8-n...g-adapter.aspx or http://www.summitracing.com/parts/no...5nos/overview/

I have the SMY cluster and boost gauge ready but the oil pressure gauge was on back order..... the wait is killing me! However, this does give me time to work on the alcantara make-over
