I agree. Lets skip it for this weekend. I've got other stuff I NEED to do as well.

Have fun at RA Scatman03. Just found out that Subaru is running a road racing team in the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car series.

Not dead, just really quiet. Almost done with my crazy busy begining to July. The wife's Half Ironman in Door County is tomorow. Week of the 4th was Cub Scout summer camp with my boy....

Not going to make it tonight. I was at the track pretty much all day yesterday and hit the race car concourse last night in Elkhart. Some nice machines there. Love the roar of a Lola T70

I was just there a few weeks ago. I drove part of the Kettle Moraine, and it was pretty awesome.

I'm still alive. My busy summer is now officialy over and I have started thinking about a meet again.

Anyone have any suggestions for dates in October or early November? I know Oct 15th won't work for me at this point...

Anyone know how to save a route map either in Google Maps or somewhere else for posting as a link?

I'm game, peak colors should be pretty quick.

I think a visit to Parnell tower would be cool and a sweet picture if we have enough cars

I was just looking at the family calandar at lunch time. I'm thinking the best day would be Saturday, Oct 29th. How does that work for you guys? That would give people from out of town advance notice to plan on coming...

Just re-posting this on this thread to notify anyone I missed. In case you haven't seen it, I started up a separate Sheboygan cruise thread here: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...1#post35304111

Come one, come all....

Default Local Shops

Thread may be dead, but I'm looking for local shops that do good work on WRX models. I've used Lakeland but I would prefer to pay a little less for shop time. And every dealer will always be "well, you should change xyz, blah blah blah."

I've used a few local shops but prefer to find one that has a lot of experience on Subarus.

Luckily I haven't need a lot of service on my WRX.

Two shops come to mind.
  1. Import Minded in Plymouth used to do all the service on my car when it was owned by the previous owner.
  2. Meyer Import Service in Sheboygan Falls i've heard is really god with import cars. Two of my good friends take their Audi's and BMWs there.
Don't know of any other non-dealer shops with a lot of experience specificaly on Subies though. If you find a good one post it up on this thread.
