Do you have wiring diagrams of either the JDM 95 or your 99?

I'm not trying to bash you, but the US - JDM wiring is the most difficult part of the swap and you should have researched that. That's a moot point to argue now you have the motor in and are ready to fire that thing up.

What experience do you have with wiring? If not much, you might be better off spending $500 or so to get it done professionally. The only place I know of on the west coast is i-speed.

yes i do have both wiring diagrams and and have everything tagged on the JDM harness. I am just afraid to start splicing and don't have a lot of experience with splicing. Also, the US wiring diagram is not that good. so need help locating wires and splicing them.

How much time do you have with the swap? In other words, is this your only car and need to get it back on the road or do you have to let it sit and take your time?

If you don't have time find someone to do it for you.

If you have time you can do it yourself . Where does your JDM harness stop? Where did they cut it off at? In the pic you can see my front wiring harness is complete but the bulkhead harness is cut just before the horn condensor on the compartment side, so that where I will need to begin my splicing. You need to find out where the JDM wires stop and that's where you will need to start. If you have the same manual I do then pages 37 - 47 in the wiring diagram section are your best map.

do you have AIM or something like it? It would be a lot easier to talk back and forth. And mine goes all the way to the gauge cluster stuff. I have pics of it. Please i can send over AIM or MSN and let you take a look.

Hmm, in my 2002 WRX swap into my 2000 RS I used a lot more of the WRX harness than what you have pictured...I would think that because you already have a MAF, although its a different model, you will have an easier time with the wiring...Just go for it man...Start and when you finish it will work...Work out the little things like lights and gauge cluster after you take care of splicing in the ECU...Take your time and make sure you check all connectors and their wires for the different locations on the plugs...You will see the plugs are all different and you will need to cut them off and splice them together...
