Talking Darkn3s: Retrofit with Demon eyes on a 2013 WRX

HI all just wanted to share some of my work that i've recently done for a local buddy. Work was done on 2013 WRX with chrome halogen headlights. I can take more pictures and make a DIY on the next WRX project i get

What i did was the following:..

-add the direct swap HID projector kit from theretrofitsource.com
-Black out the housings using Flat Black
-Smoke out the amber reflector
-tint the HI beam reflector in transparent yellow paint
-Added a custom projector shield in BLUE
-integrated a BLUE led to reflect off the shield to give it the "demon eye" glow

..enjoy

baked apart

coated in satin black but later painted in flat

tinted yellow

comparison with OEM on left and HID on the right

put together for quick testing

-Version 1- colored projector shield (no LED)
-Version 2- LED on

a little collage

Done!

Try some ideas on broken headlights for getting an idea and better at retrofitting ^ hidplanet has a lot of useful information too.

Looks good op. How's the turn signals look from a distance at night with the headlights on?
