I've searched and havent found an exact answer.
18x9.5 +40 Enkei NT03's what is the minimum spacer to clear brembo's? I know a 10mm will work but i want as much inboard clearance as possible

You'll already have a bunch of inboard room, not sure why you would be concerned with that. |

Hi, tried searching these specs but couldn't find much info.
I'm thinking about getting a set of Advan RG in 17x8.5 +31 that was previously on a DC5 Integra. Would that offset screw up the bearings on a '05 STi? |

new to the aftermarket rim deal
I really don't want to sound like a noob, but I am when it comes to rims so I'll keep the questions and details simple. I own a 2002 wrx, stock suspension and stock 16" rims. I plan on buying a set of used ASA Ka3 rims, 5x100 with kumho Ecsta 215/45/17x7.5 i do not know the offset. Will or should these fit my car? will i need spacers or hubcentric rings(i know they are essentially the same)?
Any info regarding this will greatly be appreciated and I thank you in advance. Again sorry for the noob question... And in case anyone is wondering, I chose these because they are what I can afford and I think they will look decent for my car. I'm not worried about keeping them clean because i have been known to "play" in the fields around where I live. Thanks for the help!!! |

Have you tried searching for the wheel specs? They'll fit your car but nobody can tell you if they'll run without offset.

I'll be putting Focal 428 F04's on my 09 Impreza 2.5i tomorrow. At 16x7, will there be any problems with an offset of 42?

i will add this question in this thread as well since its offset related. So here goes
So ive been told different opinions on this and wanted to get more input. What is the possiblity to fit a 18x9.5 +45 on a 2003 subaru wagon. My intentions on suspension is BC coilovers and camber bolts rolled fenders Tire would be 235 or 245 Now some have said it will work and some have said that due to the higher offset the inner clearance is the issue hitting the strut. My question is if this setup does not work what is the minimum offset that is needed on a 18x9.5 wheel? |

I've been in the market for new wheels and tires for my 06 wagon, and I found "Master thread of OEM Subaru Wheel Specs" to be helpful...

It seems to me you are over complicating the situation.
Wheel width isn't nearly as important as the tire width (concerning fender clearance), unless you are stretching the tire. And it's not really a stacking measurement (wheel width and tire width). What matters in your situation is that you are keeping with the same offset and adding ~20mm of total tire width. All that is going to do is 'use up' about 10mm of clearance on each side of the tire. |

there isn't ANY 1.6whatever inches you are pulling out of your ass. stop thinking about tire dimensions, as those only skew and **** up your calculations. figure out where the wheel sits within the fender FIRST then that can help you figure out how much tire you can get away with. in terms of a 6.5" +55 wheel vs 7.5" +55.....look at the friggin width. there is only 1" difference between them. that should've been the biggest hint. I got side tracked again by your retarded thinking. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN where the wheel sits is 12mm outboard at the outter face, and 14mm inboard on the inner face. Meaning you'll have 12mm less outer clearance than stock, and 14mm less inner clearance than stock. realistically you need to be shooting for a mid to high 40's offset on a 7.5" wheel. Quote:
just stop thinking. |

No. If the offset of the wheel remains the same, any extra width you are adding (wider tires, etc..) will be added equally (essentially) to inside and outside. Example: 20mm wider tires, half the width (10mm) to the inside, and other half (10mm) going to the outside.

I just bought a 2005 2.5 RS. I had a toyota celica that i totalled and i still have my rims that are 18x9+35 (5x100 obvs) running on 225/40/18. Can someone confirm if these will fit without problem or will i need to work on fenders?
I tried searching but didnt find anything useful |

You need to find out the center bore of the weeks though....Toyota uses a narrower hub bore than Subaru, so there's a high chance the wheels still won't fit. That fitment and stretch will look pretty stupid at stock height. |
