Default 97 impreza outback ej20g conversion

hello i recently converted my 97 outback to a ver 3 ej20g. i wanted to try to contribute seeing i use this forum so much. i no it has all been done before but i have not seen it. the way i did mine was i used all the 2.2 harnesses and merged in the new ecm .i was able to use the engine harness i had and lengthened it and change the end on the coil. i did the entire swap with out any harnesses just the 3 ecu plugs.i used the rear o2 sensor wires for my boost solenoid. it was all pretty easy with the correct ecu pin outs and runs awesome with no check engine light hope this helps someonehttp://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a591/briangauli/IMG_8508_zps1ffa1a91.jpg

Nice work.

Curious, how much custom Fab? Or was it mostly bolt up?

mechanically i only had to change the cross member, exhaust and build a throttle bracket. the electrical was a different story. i was on a very tight budget so i had to use the 2.2 harness. it actually plugged up for the most part i had to lengthen a few plugs and change the coil plug. then i wired in the new ecu plugs and i was good to go.
