Default Suddenly overboosting/fluctuations 07wrx ewg 18g

I have an 07 wrx with and 18g, tial 44mm ewg, hoa 3 port ebcs, etc. I have been on the same setup for 125k+ miles with no problems (car currently at 199k miles). Two days ago I noticed it was very rough getting up to target boost (23psi) and the wastegate didn't sound like it normally did (quieter, opening later). Finally got a chance to look around, and the only thing I could find was a loose electrical connector to the ebcs. I re crimped the loose wire, cleaned the ebcs and verified that it was still "clicking". Thought I solved the problem, but during test drive I hit 26 no problem and the gate was pretty quiet.

Not sure if the solenoid is shot, wastegate problem, or other. I'm 400miles from home, so won't be able to data log or get under the car at the moment. I checked the lines, but see nothing obvious. Is there a typical "lifespan" on ewg diaphragms or ebcs solenoids? Anything else I should be looking for? Since I have added nothing, I would assume its something mechanical, and not tune related. Ideas?

Take out the wastegate, take it apart and clean it.

Fixed the problem. When I dropped the wastegate today, I immediately noticed the boost line going to the bottom port had a decent hole worn in it. Since I wasn't sure what it was, I ordered a new diaphragm for it and decided to change it anyway. Took all of 10 minutes to change new dia. My old one had 125k++ miles on it, and still looked great (will keep as backup) Replaced vacuum line, hooked everything up, voila! Boost returned to normal
