Max limit of 1000 points obviously being $1.

Max fill up per redemption = 25 gallons of gasoline.

Points expire at the end of the following month. For example points earned in June can be used through the end of July. However any points under 100 expire at the end of each month. So only increments of 100 are saved.

As I said, it's not an amazing discount but hey its something if you're a frequent shopper.
That's interesting. Is that for Freddies or Carrs points? Seems like I always have at least $.03/gal discount. (If I choose freddies over Shell) Also I have found at Freddies pumps, with enough points you can choose the discount. (i.e. standard $.03, or $.05, $.10 or one time I had $.20) I guess, you can choose not to blow all your points.

You get the .03 even if you don't have points just gotta enter your rewards number.

I just paid $3.93 per gallon at Chevron on Lake Otis and Abbott. $0.20 off per gallon with my Safeway Club membership.

Not with Chevron using the Carrs discount! At least that was my experience. Yesterday, I tanked up and I entered my number and didn't have point for a discount but didn't get the .03 cents off either.

Is it just me (I mean in no snobby attitude, this is real question) or all this talk about saving $.20 a gal focused a little too much. If I did my math correct, I fill up at least 5 times a month usually around 12.5 gal each time. that would only save me $12.50 a month or $156.25 a year. I could do the same thing if I didn't go out to eat once a month. Right?

I see your point. The only time iI use my gas points is when we fill up my husbands truck (Tundra) and then we bring gas cans with us too. Weird I know but it maxes out at $100. I shop at Fred Meyers a lot and I buy quite a bit of organic food so the points add up. Other than that I fill my car at the shopette or Costco.

I have to disagree with you and say that's not true. I've had many times where my points are drained and no rewards discount is given thru the Fred Meyers rewards. If you're continuously getting a discount it's most likely due to you actually having points still available.

You're completely correct. It's nothing amazing. It's more or less just a nice incentive to have at stores you frequently shop at and at gas stations many prefer to go to.

I use Holidays Big Honkin' Rewards

It usually gets me a free soda about every 10 fill-ups (or something like that). There's other rewards to choose from too, such as gas discounts...

You are correct in that it isnt a lot, but when you are a commuter and buying 1.75-2 tanks a week @ 14.5 gallons, and that starts to add up. (ok, $23/month) Id gladly take those savings in gas and have a nice meal out vs eatin ramen and not taking the discount

I will spend over $10k on diesel this season just keeping a few pieces of equipment and a truck running. I go through about 300-400 gallons a month.

Saving 0.20$ a gallon would save me some $$, that's why I was asking.

This is true except that it is money in YOUR pocket and not the gas stations. You/We already pay too much so why give up more of your hard earned money if you don't have to?

Does anyone own a 2008-2011 white Impreza on here? Or know anyone who does?

That is your cue to create one. Don't wait for something to be done for you! Be proactive.

I'll post up my dyno sheet. I'd be careful to specify no butt dyno, no road dyno or dash mounted BS dyno though.

Had a new guy working for me yesterday (I own a logging company) We only worked for about 5hrs and he says it was the hardest he has ever worked in his life.

I was having him do the easier stuff to kinda break him in too I'm sure it will get easier as the Nintendo "muscles" go away.

No gym memberships required over here. I've lost almost 20lbs since leaving the Air Force in April.

It's probably because stress increases your cortisol levels making you fat. No Air force No stress.

Picked this up off the middle of the highway.

I'm sure it was more the sitting around doing nothing for at least 50% of the day. Most of the time I went and found stuff to do because I have major ADD when it comes to just sitting around. I need to be productive.
