I've never been to automotion. I'll have to check it out one of these years. Post some pics when you can. Thanks for your service by the way.

For all you guys waiting on the Facebook group to add you. Typically the three admins don't accept anyone without seeing a Subaru in one of their pictures. So be patient they get a lot of people without subarus trying to get in.

Congratulations on your new ride! Great color!

We used to have a group on here with a wide variety of ages that had meets and drives a couple times a year. I think the bulk of that group just got older and with home ownership, having kids and other responsibilities just isn't on here as much anymore. The Facebook group seems to be mainly in their 20's and it's not the same as it used to be. There used to be a wealth of information on engines and suspensions available from some really experienced owners including those who autocrossed and did track days. Things change with time.

Between my wife and I we've owned six Subarus including a modified 2007 WRX wagon and I'm in my 50's.

That's definitely too bad. I took the new wheels out to the Holy Hill area and there are some really nice drives out there. I'm originally from SoCal and there are hundreds of car enthusiast groups out there, so I'm disappointed its not as active up here. Maybe I'll look into a Chicago based one.

I'm in northeast Illinois but I like to consider myself southeast Wisconsin, because I really like your state!

There are some WI folks in the Lake County Subaru Facebook page.

SEWSC on Facebook isn't bad. We have cruises and meets also. Sure most are into stance but its still fun and a good place. Generally everyone is willing to help you just need to have tough skin sometimes.

Holy hill is a great road that I travel on quite a bit and it never gets old. I think there have been 2 cruises in the Subaru group on holy hill so far. If you ever get a chance actually stop in at the holy hill shrine it's beautiful

You guys ever check out Quantum Performance in Port? Arron's (the Owner and i can't forget his Wife) a good guy. If Tyler is in there you should ask him about his Z Car project

Arron knows his Nissan's also

Looks like it's in the same space as Synergy used to be? Same people, or new owners?

It's around the back side (West) of the building. Arron C was one of the co-owners of Synergy & now he owns Quantum Performance. So there's only two of the people from Synergy there.

Another west bender right here, representing craptastic roads and cops with nothing better to look for other than loud exhausts
