On the 2.5 bore I see 22 lbs around 4k. If you look through my threads I posted a virtual dyno of same setup only with a 2.2 bore and it spooled a tad slower but wasn't noticable.

Must be talking about another guy. Most I've ever ran is 30. Usually 25 to 27 on most days.

They say the same thing about the 4b11 engine and we set the record on stock sleeves way back in the day. 800WHP and still going.

Gonna pick up a journal bearing pte. I see similar numbers and graphs from the 6262 and 6266 but the builds vary so much I can't account for the changes. Should I expect more spool or power from one or another?

They spool about the same. And they make similar power until you get into high boost but once you push the boost the 6266 will produce more power. No real reason to get the 6262. Even though a lot of the 6266 builds on the Subaru platform haven't really pushed the boost in the past, there still isn't really any downside so you might as well get it.

That's my feeling too. Still a good turbo but I wasn't 100% educated and figures it would spool better

I got to test a new PTE BOLT ON turbo this week at P&L
SS exhaust housing, waterless BB cartridge, huge IWG flapper ( looked like 38mm ) billet wheel.. Very bad ass
Full boost at 3600 and 490whp on e85@24-5psi

All I can share for now, but I was impressed.

Jr

I have no other info for the time being, but the thing worked nice.

If the price is under $1000 I can see a stock location PTE being hugely popular.

Anyone put a lot of DD miles on the JB, non water cooled PTE turbos? How long do they last? Stock location turbo guys are usually looking for something DD friendly that can last for years without issue.

Hell for that matter, keep it water cooled so that the guys who are going to keep that simplistic stock location turbo don't have to delete their turbo coolant reservoir and all the associated stuff. (Plugging radiator , rerouting hoses etc)

I do think a $999 reliable IWG turbo would be great, and until now it hasn't been possible. We don't know for sure if it is even going to be there yet but the chance would be nice .

Here's what we can share: two offerings that we know of coming: one has a 55mm inducer and the other is slightly larger.
