I didn't know "stage 1" was just a tune. Not for my 06, and not for any of the other subaru's my friends have had, had gotten an AP. from my knowledge the accessport stage 1 flash was with either with a drop in filter or some sort of A/M intake. "Stage 2" would be turbo back and intake.. Again from my previous knowledge. I never had first hand experience with an AP until I purchased one myself. I asked the question, then did some research and came to find out there are other features such as the Anti Theft map, or Valet map. You live and you learn. And there is probably some miscommunication going on, because I'm not agreeing with you that an mbc will prevent boost creep, but what I'm saying is that it's not always 100% going to prevent it. The two (either mbc or ebcs) paired with an EWG is probably going to be the most proven and effective method to prevent boost creep if your going to be catless. Also, if your going to be catless and want to be even safer, invidia offers an excellent downpipe with a bell mouth/ divided waste gate. Rather than an open bell mouth which is going to be a tad louder, however increase your chance of creep.

Well now that were being civil about this, I can say I havnt really used any GS products before. I was actually going to buy the GS ebcs, but after reading some reviews, I guess the tubing is packaged improperly, causing issues with fitment and sealing. However after contact GS directly they replace the tubing for you for free, I would rather not risk or go through that trouble. Idk I could be wrong and maybe they fixed the issue now. Originally I was going to go with an HOA 3-port, but for the extra $20 I'd rather go with either the Cobb or GS. Only because the max pressure of the HOA is only like 80psi or something (which nobody will ever hit) but the Cobb and GS 3-port are max 120. I guess it just gives me more confidence knowing its built more durable. The solenoid if the Cobb and GS are identical, however I just read about the tubing on the GS rather than the Cobb. Either way, their great products and GS does make a hell of a product for our vehicles. I'm about to order my 44mm EWG up pipe ceramic coated from them

I think people over-exaggerate not boosting while breaking in the engine. You should boost here and there, have a few WOT pulls, and just overall have fun with the car. There's a difference between occasional spirited driving during break-in, and beating on the car.

Have fun with it and dont be scared to boost, I have 300 miles so far and have done a few redline shifts.

Kinda hard reading sarcasm online, especially with all these people that constantly preach that you NEED to drive like a grandma during break-in. Glad you agree with me

I drove mine during break-in as how I would normally drive it.

I basically drove the car normal and boosted occasionally from time to time to pass other cars on the road but just kept it under 4K the entire time until I hit 1,000 miles. I'm currently at 1165 and was boosting it a little more over the weekend. I took it up to at least 6K on one of my WOT pulls.

I didn't think that was an available option on a Subaru...

Looking locally for a 2013 WRX. There are only 2 within ~75 miles and about 6 dealerships.. They're both base models and no less than 28,000 OTD.....
