The red wheel image looked good on a dark gray hatch, haven't seen this combo..
You shouldn't be going any wider than a 225 on a 7.5" wheel.

Just got them 17x17.5 and like Kennyboobear stated at least for the gold paint they left out area's of paint on the back hub portion and spokes and blended it with the rest of the inside so some area's actually look like the could use a second coating! Kind of annoying but its something that will be forgotten in a couple days. Maybe they did it to blend in with the brakes? Any other people with the gold ones have the same paint job? Pics coming soon!

Those wheels look GREAT on your car. The look brighter than some of the other gold spacos in this thread also.

Anybody have these in lime green on a silver impreza (preferably SGM)? I showed the wife different colors and surprisingly she said she liked the green (which I was considering... Just didn't know how spontaneous I wanted to be or if I wanted to play it safe and go with something more subtle)

But I really would like to see an actual picture of them on the car before I pull the trigger, thanks!

Or red...I'm leaning more towards red now... A little mor subtle than lime but still "out there"

I got a set of bronze ones and can't wait to get them on! But! I found scratches on the outside of the inner rim. Tirerack sent some replacements and these also have some scratches on the outside of the inner rim.

Did anyone else see this with theirs? Is it normal???

I just installed these. 2012 WRX SWP with the Gold Assetto Garas.

Didn't realize the paint had a matte-type finish to it (was expecting more of a glossier). Any words on caring for it? Anybody experiencing chipping? If this runs through a car-wash for example, would it kill it? I don't typically do that, but I'd like to know what to do and not do.

For ex, there's already a black spec on a couple of them from maybe some tire sealant or something...worried that it will bake in and not be clean-able.

I've been using these for winter wheels for two different cars now. They look good for the price and they clean up fairly easily.
I ran them for two winters on my old car and one winter on my MY13. I just wax them prior to putting them on in the fall and wax them again when I take them off in the spring.
No fading, noticeable scratches, or pitting thus far.

Im thinking about getting the 17x7.5 bronze wheels but i want to put my stock Dunlop SP sport 01's on them and i was reading thru the thread and someone said that 225 is ideal for 7.5. I believe the dunlops are 235 so would this be a bad idea? im not trying to buy a new set of tires when my stock ones are not even a month old...

235/45/17 on a 7.5 work. They aren't necessarily ideal, but I've seen it done.

The tire loses some crispness on turn-in and you get sidewall angling out to meet the wider tread. For the street just to get some more life from a tire... it's fine

Oh i see...so i should be okay then. The tire rack website recommends the 235/45, which was deceiving when i saw what ppl were actually putting on was different.

I have the silver and have been running them for a few months they clean up nicely. Seem to take gravel and road grime well. Post some pics of your car/wheels.

235 on a 7.5 wheel is definitely in the ideal range and youvshould not see any issues. My 09 comes with 225 on a 7 inch wheel, my prelude had 205 on a 6.5 wheel...

10mm wider is just under half an inch, with a half inch wider wheel... No problem there obviously.

Does anybody have a wheel not installed yet? Don't have time to take one of mine off. I'm curios if they have the five pockets in the rear of the hub to accomdodate wheel spacers. Can anybody check for me?
