Had some crazy fun runs at today's Test 'n' Tune at B.C.R. Can't finish editing the video tonight, but wow the track improvements are EPIC! Double lane wide now... Whispers of wheel to wheel action in upcoming events! =D

Here's a quick video of a run I did on Saturday at Prairie City SVRA (Rancho Cordova, CA).

It was a fun course!

Car is an 07 WRX.

Exhaust is Cobb catted dp, Stromung mid-pipe, and Prodrive axle-back (with VF39).

Stock with paranoid fab 1" spacers. If I weren't selling it I'd do forester lift with subframe spacers

Went fishing this morning! Had some fun getting to and from the spot. And had a good time fishing as well.

I bought the car with the 18's that are on it, but I am wanting to switch to some 16's. Im looking at Sparco Terra. What size tire can I run at stock height? I am going to do some off roading on it. Also I'm looking for some adjustable shocks that will keep me at stock height but I want them to be stiff. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Those Terra's look great, especially for the price. You should be able to run a 60/16 with maybe slight rubbing under full flexing of the suspension. That is why some folks with stock suspensions run the Yoko Geolandars. You can run 65/16 Grabbers but they will rub when exercising the supension.

If your wanting something stiff then you should get springs and struts... not just struts. Coilovers are another option but the good ones are $$$. Tokico Dspecs are very adjustable and KYB AGX's are slightly adjustable. Some good stiff springs would be King springs. They come in both stock height and lifted versions. Those are what I would recommend.

A shame these are photoshopped pics...

I was browsing this Japanese lift kit page... I was very excited when I found these, but then when I enlarged them in Photoshop to post here, I noticed they were shopped... damn! BUT these are still pretty sweet ideas!

Default 2004 Lift

Here is my setup. Made my own 1" strut spacers out of UHMW PE, cutting the profile and center hole with a jig saw, then i added coil spring spacers, the rubber rings you can buy at most autoparts stores, to the springs for more lift. These were over 1" thick. I found I had to cut about 3/8" off the front ones to get the suspension to bolt back together.

Alright guys, I've already posted for some advice here and have gotten some great advice suspension wise. My plans on suspension are revolved sti struts with king springs(stock or lift height not quite sure yet). I plan on running Sparco Terra 16". I want a good tire, but not quite sure if I want a grabber. I'm going for more of a rally look and the grabber just doesn't do it for me. So what's a good tire and size?

Thanks,
Drake

There are not very many options with 16" wheels. You probably don't want to go any higher than a 70/16 with your suspension and the only options I can think of off the top of my head are Grabbers and Geolandars. The Grabbers look more aggressive, IMO. If you get a 15" wheel that clears the brakes then I'm sure you'll have some more options since you can run a taller sidewall. Just don't get a real rally tire for DD.

^ yeah I wasn't looking for a "real" rally tire for DD. I've been looking at the geolanders but they look pretty aggressive from what I've seen. Does any have a picture of the tread on the geolanders? I was looking at a 215/60 on the 16"s

Yeah I haven't heard anyone complain about the Geolandars. Tire rack has accurate pictures of the tread design.
