what can we do to our OBS's specifically? I know everybody on here (from what I have been reading) pretty much lets the obs owners to "get a real Impreza". blah blah. I like my OBS. That said the engine is an EJ253 N/A. I just want a few ideas to make her a little more peppy. she's already pretty good!

are there options for exhaust, intakes, turbo etc?

I would love to know!

Well I'm sure you've been seeing people say get a real wrx, since your obs for all intents and purposes is an Impreza. Don't worry about power at all unless you have plenty of money, in which case wrx is still most reasonable.
Worry about the suspension, Koni inserts are an amazing upgrade when you pair them up with stock 11+ STI springs as an inexpensive option. Look at better tires. Get a rear sway bar, an 09+ STI rsb is good and cheap for 19mm from nothing.
If you have a manual tranny you can switch to a short throw shifter with upgraded bushings.
Everything else is really for looks. I mean you could do a lightweight crank pulley for engine bling and rpms reacting a bit quicker.

I just finished an upgrade on my 2010i. CAI, better exhaust, under drive pullies and a fresh set of TWE stage 2 cams. After all of that my power is still less then impressive. I've got a ecu flash and tractrix cable, going to get a good tune next. Hopefully that brings everything together.
Love the car, don't love the power it makes

Those cams without good headers and a tune is leaving a lot on the table.

Agreed! Still thought I'd get more out if them, even before I tune.

From my experience with two NA Imprezas, exhaust and UEL headers are fun, but only add sound (but it's worth it!).

Stick to suspension and brakes for increasing fun factor. You won't make good power out of an NA Subaru engine without going all out with $$$.. and even then, it's tough.

nice looking OBS doc! love what you did! I have a silver on silver '10. today some woman pulled out in front of me and did a number on my front left end. will post photos of my obs and damage asap. this lil' bender was a minor setback. ugh. I have been looking everywhere for for both sways. almost everybody laughs when i say i want a set for an OBS. ugh... not a fan of the power. just a blast to drive. they have enough of a kick to get past most things right now. what exhaust do you guys recommend? is it safe to go dual exhaust? can i use the under bumper trim of a WRX hatch to match the dual?
