Default Problem with tactrix

I have the new version of the tactrix cable and usrd it a few times with no problems. Recently i went to use it and it seems like it couldnt read the ecu or something. The plug would light up like it was working but nothing would come up on ecu flash. Any one have an idea of what could be wrong?

Did they update the definitions files for ECU Flash? Make sure you have the current definitions for your Model ECU

What does it say in the lower right corner of EcuFlash when you have the OpenPort plugged in to the laptop through the USB cable? Do you have another mini USB cable you can try? It's a standard mini USB cable just like the one you might have from a digital camera or GPS or similar device.

Could be a cable issue.

Mine did the same thing last year, turns out the cable had one of those cheap swivel heads (not sure if this is the cable that came with it). I swapped cables and it works flawlessly.

If it had a swivel head, it wasn't the USB cable that came with the OpenPort. The problem we have is that most of the USB cables are not all that great. If we could pay a bit more for nicer USB cable to include with the OpenPort, we would, but USB cables are a commodity and they're all sort of mediocre.
