08 rex with 400whp/wtq, e85, 1.5xtr. had mods for almost 20k and the tranny is doing just fine. on my second clutch though, the first an act hdss that lasted 15k before getting roasted and now act sprung 6-puck (awesome clutch btw). everything is still good to go. i attribute some of it to a redline cocktail of gear oil and shockproof.

....................cant say the same for the bracket that attaches the pedal assembly to the firewall though. no bueno.

2009 WRX coming up on 60k. Clutch was smoked during a launch against a friend, but babying it works fine. New clutch going in with 60k service.

Been stg 1 since 3k. Throwout bearing chirps in the morning since I can remember.

Have about 60k total on stock trans and clutch, roughly 35k at stg2. Smoked the clutch a few times, launched hard a few times, no issues here. Any recommendations on trans oil, about to be that time. Diff oil also

2008 WRX with built motor tuned by COBB in Plano at 18psi on stock turbo making 250hp 315tq with FX300 clutch and COBB short throw adjustable shifter. Syncros into 4th are goin out. It grinds very badly. Just figured out it would be cheaper to replace the transmission than fix the syncros. So now I am in the market for a 2010 5 speed.

Stg "2+" 300hp/360trq

Stock until 80k Stage 2 with COBB DP and AP (OTS tune) and Spearco TMIC @ 80k
Headgasket failure at 103k Short block rebuilt by IAG with with oversized 99.75mm forged pistons, bored and honed, new HGs, new ARP head studs, new bearings, all the 105k replacement parts (gates timing belt, new water pump etc). Full race header and a few other little supporting mods added.
Clutch replaced at that time with Exedy stage 1
(Old one felt fine but was visually worn)
Jorge tuned 300/360.

30/60/90k services all performed on time at IAG. Trans and diff fluid always replaced with Motul 75w90 at those intervals.

Now 107k. Trans still going strong. No grinds. No issues. Though I am building a trans before I add anymore power.

I'm pushing 430hp at the crank (according to computer calcs) on CA 91 Oct. I haven't done any hard launches since owning the car but I've done some harsh 3rd gear shifts and downshifts and no issues yet. I think I'm near to the limit, looking at some of the other users on this forum with broken 3rd gears. 2nd Gear synchro is going but I plan to drop in a PPG set, new synchros, and new diffs. I'm building up a donor 2011 tranny.
