If I were to do a baseline somewhere else I guarantee I'll be way over 500whp with this setup.
Cobb uses a Mustang dyno. Seriously $80,000 ? I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Oh hell, I'm gonna laugh.

Since you want to get all technical.
Yes they use the same dyno.
Yes they do sell performance parts.

Does it or does it not make sense for them to calibrate it differently for higher number outputs?

Would they or would they not make more money and get more referrals from a higher reading dyno?

You can laugh or cry, won't make a difference to me, this is my build. That I'm sharing with you.

You can judge, bitch, laugh, or cry.

Doesn't change anything.

I still am living the same life before and post this 80k investment on this build

Thanks!

I only judge with the 80000$ investment. And with the fact i never see any proven power for 500 whp in this thread. Bad ratio power/$$$.

$50k? No way in hell you spent that much money on that build. You seem like you want to brag about your big bank regardless of how stupid you look doing it. If you do have that kind of money to throw around and not care what you get for your money, you wont have money for long. Rich people rarely get rich doing things that way. I hope that Cobb knob you installed was made of gold...All that money and you went all out on the wheels I see...

My only complaint is : where are those proven 500whp? You can throw away all the money you want. Just don't make a thread like that if you can't prove it.

$50k gets eaten up quick, especially when you are changing setups, and paying for labor. Even more so if we are talking about a well rounded car(interior, wheels, etc)

Bet there is a lot more $50k+(in mod) builds on this forum than one would think.

**** adds up quick.

People keep bitching about money.
You have to pay to play.
Obviously money wasn't an issue for me when building this.

Chris, I commend you for being honest about all of this! I also think that some here are in denial about what they spend on their cars. Especially when they think they are capable of doing it all, then through trial and error spend way more than they ever thought would or admit! It's easy to be an arm chair car builder and bench tuner!! LOL

If someone wants to hire a good shop like GST to mod there car and do a turn key build including tune then that's their business. Yes you pay the premium on labor and maybe parts but way less trial and error. Sometimes even less expense because you're correcting less mistakes and its done right the first time.

I say to each his own and screw the critics, haters and doubters. No doubt your car will be done right!

Thanks! Very well said!

I had no idea stating I had 80k invested into the car would bring so many negative comments.

It is what it is..

I wouldn't be surprised if you spent 50k worth of cash getting where you are now. Alot of people don't like to look at the cost of switching set ups till getting one you're satisfied with or things that go wrong along the way. I hate admitting it, but I spend somewhere around 7k for my built motor. Thanks to the first machine shop making a mistake on the clearances of the bottom end, costing me rod bearings and the block itself. I was able to salvage the Manley internals, but had to start over with another shop. Sucks when it happens, but it's a part of modding.

Yep, whatever I was recommended by my tuner I bought. Consider it his build!
