Makes no since!.... Does not overheat or run hot untill it boils a lot of water from the coolant,.... A few days of driving!
Are you using premix or concentrate in the system? What are you topping it up with?

Well, I figured it out!..... Mind you, I'm 36 years old, been working in auto mechanics for almost 20 years.... Earlier in life out of nessisaty,... the last 10, as side money & I work my daily job as a welder.... I truly work on a lot of cars week to week, month to month.... I have to say,..... I'm embarrassed!..... I was so busy with all this other stuff that I didn't notice the lower radiator hose was cold!..... Upper,... Hot as hell!.....

I just checked the timing belt & alignments the other day, everything was brand new,... Water pump, timing components, belt and all was Subaru parts...... All this has 11k miles on it but was two years ago when it was done,... Thenit was sold to the guy I bought it from..... The guys boy put less than 11k on it in those two years!.....

It was not overheating, and with the new"er" parts..... I didn't even suspect the thermostat!...... I knew the pump was working and the thermostat is in the pump..... Who would have thought!
