The roof is in the works and the visors will be taken care of when that takes place.

i am not sure i dig it. but looks comfy and rad. only think i can say is pretty far out are the seats.

Without the advertising?! Seriously? Do you really think a company like JPM would force their logo on people? I ASKED JPM to do that. If you didn't want logos in your interior there wouldn't be any. If you prefer no logos that is a matter of differences in taste. I wanted to give credit where credit is due and I like the look of it. I don't have stickers all over my car or even badges. I do, however, like to feature shops that do the work when it works with the style of my car. It's not like I used Gucci material or something like that.

I really hate it when people say that. Someone else did in this thread and that is ridiculous.

I think the JPM logo looks much better than the glowing STi logo that's suppose to go there.

Those sparco seats look like they are meant for big people.

Love the look so far! I love my JPM armrest/shift boot/ebrake boot.

The parts have held up perfectly so far too.

Rob, don't take this the wrong way because I drive the same car, but your car is proof that you can polish a turd into a beautiful diamond. My biggest gripe about my WRX is the shoddy interior, this living proof that Subaru just gave us all a blank canvas and said "make it your own". Bravo.

I think that is really just the wide angle lens bending the look of them. I am 6'2" at 185 and they fit me perfectly. My asian friends also really like them. They are more bigger people friendly than a set of buckets or Brides though.

Not taken the wrong way at all! I completely get it. Part of the fun of this car was taking a 27k car and building it into what I really wanted in the end. I could have bought something else but I would have been able to go to the extremes I did with this car. It has been a lot of fun to develop it over time.

More updates:

I have more in the works as well. Teaser from JPM Coachworks.

Not the something new as it has been done before...but the new dash went in today along with the new gauge hood and shifter surround.

The cluster hood is now back to the factory piece wrapped in black Alcantara with black leather on the front lip.

The logo was deleted on the shifter surround and moved up to the gauges. To add some contrast to the center console, we added red stitching where the factory line is on the surround.

The ATI gauge cluster was cut and bondo'ed to the dash and then the dash was completely wrapped so it all looks like one unit built to be that way. The ATI pod was then painted and finished off with black stitching on the edges. It will house a Defi boost gauge, Defi oil pressure gauge and an Innovative wideband gauge.

I'll be taking better pictures of everything once the interior is finished over the next couple of weeks.

The headliner and B pillars are in just in time for Wicked Big Meet.

Just in case you guys were wondering what it looked like in our cars without the headliner in. Big surprise...zero sound deadening. I thought about putting some in while we had it out but I just didn't have the time. I'll have to go back and do that in the future.

A couple of small updates.

The visors (black Alcantara, black leather strap, red stitching, JPM tag) installed.

I am trying out a weighted shift knob from Anarchy Motive (raw finish).

The gauges in and running.

Thanks! JPM does amazing work. Even if you just do their ebrake and shift boot...it makes a huge difference in our interiors.

I don't look at it either! j/k I will say out of all of my mods...the interior is my favorite. It completely changes the feel of the car for the better.

Not really sure since it was done in so many stages. If you are curious...you can hit up JPM and they will quote you on whatever you need.

I concur, picked up the armrest, shift boot, and brake boot from Wicked Big Meet. The interior is so much nicer now without the vinyl boots and stock plastic armrest we get in the WRX.

Has anyone noticed any wear and tear on their alcantara armrest? I rest my arm on the armrest everytime I drive and I feel like that may wear the material down after time.

that's one of the beauties of genuine alcantara material - it is incredibly resilient to not only the abuse of the sun but to long-time wear. i rest my arm on the jdm center console on all my drives and have had it wrapped by JPM for over two years and the alcantara looks like the day it arrived.

rsutton - thanks for the photos, everything is looking great and the interior much nicer for sure!

beautiful interior/car. i'm in talks right now with alex to determine what exactly I want to do with mine, just the simple boots/armrest cover. But that alone will improve it dramatically. I see you have a son, any problems with having to clean this stuff? Would you recommend the leather, alcantara, or the hybrid? I love the alcantara, just nervous that it would look weird with no other in the interior anywhere

I'm discussing this project with then as well. The only thing holding me back is what material I should actually use. I want something less like a fabric and more like leather or vynal ( wow how do I spell it lol).

We're in the midst of testing a cleaner specific for the Alcantara material made by a well known manufacturer / brand. We're not really at a point for announcement, but we're hoping it will work out well!

It will wear well over time. However, the gross part is that you may see a build up of dead skin cells and other grimes off your skin if you do not clean your parts/products often. That's what that "white dust" that shows up on the armrests usually is.

And we thank you again for that!

There's a cleaner coming (see the top of this post).

Please forgive me for asking but have you phoned us in the workshop yet? We have a variety of quality materials that may be worth your review should you like to explore additional options -- (770) 293-2120.

Thanks again and happy Friday,
Alex

Beautiful! Subaru should contract out 1000 limited edition 2014 models with this type of interior as a final send off for the 08-14 WRX/STI MY. Sitting in an STI with the stock interior is a joke, but your car looks perfect!

Glad you finally got the headliner and pillars done, looks good! I think I'll pick up the sun visors from JPM next week when I'm up at TopSpeed. You can get the airbag covers on the pillars dyed(not the rattle can crap) like I did, unless you like the two tone bits....which apparently is the "in thing" right now in Japan. looking forward to meeting you and getting some pics of our cars together during my build up there.
