What condition is it in? Post some pics so some subiegurus can see what kinda condition its in.
I would commence with routine and preventative maintenance, get all the fluids freshened up. The very first thing I'd look at on a vehicle thats older like yours is the tires and brakes.
Also- enjoy your first car man!!

I too own a 93L. Let me tell you, they are hard to find aftermarket stuff for. There are a lot of interchangable parts though which make it a bit easier, but expensive. Styling wise look into STI fronts. theyre sweet looking but incredibly pricy.

I also have a 93 L love every part of it except the rust! I am looking into getting new fenders for the front. it's definitely a keeper.

93-95 are the best year imprezas to own because your obd1 as long as you can fight rust off have a ball. As far as modding parts that are made all the way up to 07 shouldn't have a problem going into your car and swaps are cake in your car because emissions are a joke so you can go full standalone

I had a 1993 L and a 1999 Impreza RS. Great cars, and GC8 listed parts will fit.

Is is a 1.8L and is it AWD?

ETA: I just noticed Ive been around since the start of this site and Im relisted as a Scooby Newbie, lol

I new to Imprezas too. So I was wondering what should I do first to my '95 1.8 awd. (Btw it has a '99 motor in it)

In my opinion you should make sure it runs perfectly. Than make it look nice like any other car. (Lower it, new wheels)
