I think a spot-weld should fix it.
That sucks. I'd weld and go external at that point

That's the most likely outcome... I've been wanting to clock the turbo 90 degrees for a long time (for one less bend in the turbo-to-FMIC pipe) but the IWG actuator is in the way. And I haven't changed anything in over a year now, maybe two years even, so it's time to do something.

Thing is, I want to hold the wastegate closed with a bracket mounted where the actuator is now, and that requires a working arm. I'm not real keen on the idea of welding the door closed from the inside, and I don't know that I'd trust a weld on the outside to properly seal the door shut.

Good news on the performance of the IWG, not so much the broken tab though.

Yeah, I have no complaints about the IWG performance, other than the busted arm.

I think the IWG linkage might have had too much tension from the factory (I never adjusted it).

Talked to them toda about building me a gtx2867, they said no problem. I love this idea, but I don't love the turbine housing size. So rotated ill have to stick to.

Is anyone using a PTP (or other brand) turbo blanket with the ATP 3076, internally wastegated?

If so, which blanket did you get, and how well does it fit?

I want to get a blanket, but I'm not sure which one. I have one of those DIY fiberglass-and-foil blankets right now, but after ~5 years and pulling/reinstalling the turbo a few times, it's getting a bit ragged.

Thanks. I thought people were using the T3 blankets, and I was wondering if the WRX turbo blanket would be big enough.
