Is there any way to step around this lengthy problem? p&p harness or aftermarket ECU?

Does anyone know of an Impreza 08+ with autopower roll bar or cage installed with as much trim inside as possible?

Alright guys, I need help here. My rear drums are coming to an end and I think it's time to convert them to discs. Who knows exactly what parts I need? I don't mind buying new if it comes down to it. I just have no idea what item numbers or parts to look for.

Yes I have searched and searched. Searched Google, Nasioc, etc. Nothing for 08 models specifically. I would imagine it's roughly the same procedure though.

I think it was VDMtom (?) who did a conversion.. I tried sending him a message but no response.

subarupartsamerica.com has more of a selection then subarugenuineparts.com, but I don't exactly know what's needed so it is hard to narrow down.

Ideally part #'s would be best.

Thanks in advance.

Can anyone help me with installation instructions for this v-limited style lip?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/360660609272...84.m1423.l2649

it comes with clips and rivets, and I dont really know which clips are supposed to be riveted to where, as well as generally attaching the thing to my bumper..

Good luck with that bro I ordered the same one and I had some trouble. I had to use a heat gun to bend and shape it too get it to fit.

But it's pretty much line up the holes and make marks before you do ANY attachments. 3m double sided tape will be needed and if you have a friend that can help you that is a plus. What I did was start at the rear of the front bumper by the wheel wells and line the lip up and make your first mark at the first lined up hole. Then loosely bolt it to just hold it in place and then proceed to do the other holes.

Well I had a rivet gun at my work. You can get one at any hardware store. But for rivets just drill a small hole about the size of the rivet and boom stick it in and rivet it. I currently have it off right now cause I'm going to lake Havasu and I don't want it to get mess up.

Are there any gaps between the two lips? Or does it look like perfect fit?

I cut it to the point that it sits flush. However there are small light gaps if you specifically look for them. If your not looking for the gap you will never notice them.

I have rear Calipers, Rotors, Pads, and StopTech lines coming my way off of a 2012 WRX. Looks like all I need now is backing plates. I'm sure those will be near impossible to source used so I will just buy them used (fairly inexpensive).

Wouldn't you need the rear knuckles?

I remember when Tom was trying to get rear discs. He said that you need pretty much everything from the axle out.

Makes me super glad that my car came with rear discs.
