Our Sponsor logistics team works outside the website to work with our sponsors to ensure their arrival into the event is as smooth as possible.

we are working on a new server night and day, but unfortunately that does not happen overnight.

Last year was a bit awkward because they were not able to get the timing equipment that they had brought to work so it was pretty much a stopwatch but the classing last year was broken down as simply as

non turbo or rather any Subaru that was NA - naturally aspirated very easy to interpret

turbo stock - stock being interpreted as being that your cold air intake is a "cool" looking mod and all but lets be honest

modified - also being interpreted on a car to car basis but it is safe to say any turbo swaps, suspension upgrades, exhaust upgrades, and tunes will get you here

I am betting there will be at least one person there that knows a little something about Subarus to better help keep these "interpretations" fair and accurate. Most likely Doug Mikko will be bringing the beautiful NA coupe out again and just STOMP everybody anyways no matter the mods we have I do love seeing driver skill > car mods

While it would be nice to use the SCCA Solo classing rules most of the participants of the all Subaru autocross will most likely not be a regular autocrossers and we could spend all day classing cars so keeping it simple will....well keep it simple.

As for timing this year since it is being hosted by the Bremerton autocross club the same day they are running their event timing will be accurate this time. I would also suggest coming early and perhaps asking one of their club for a ride, not only is it great fun but very informative on how to navigate the course.

Maybe one of the actual Bremerton folks could weigh in on this for more accurate and correct information?

I guess one of the things I am worried about is the amount of runs we will be able to get throughout the day. Last year we got five which I thought was pretty good (of course, I would have been happier with six lol) but nobody seems to have elaborated on whether or not we will be running with the BSCC guys on the same course at the same time. If we are, then I would be surprised if we get more than two or three runs just because of the sheer number of cars. Correct me if I'm wrong.......

That is VERY valid question, last year there was a huge delay in getting timing working so that did reduce the number of runs and one more run than what you actually get is always nice.

As for running on the same course as the Bremerton guys ...that too is a VERY valid question.

I have never been to one of their events and just the number of entries in one of their events is AMAZING, how they are even able to get all their regularly drivers through in a single day astonishes me little lone adding all the Subaru entries. I will be seeing a few of the Bremerton folks this weekend and will get this answered because now i'm curious. If one of them doesn't respond here first I will try to post here next Monday.

Thanks! I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates the effort! Last years BNW was my first autocross ever and I had a blast. So if there is anything that can be done to make it an even MORE awesome experience then I'm all for it. I'm also a very competitive person so the more runs for me to perfect my driving the better.

Hi guys I just stumbled onto this thread while looking for more Auto X info for the BNW meet. A few of the guys from the Vancouver Impreza club are interested in participating in the Auto X also but the info had been very limited.

I just have a question that I'd like to find out answer for if possible.

What time do we have to be there for tech?
As we have to leave Canada in time to make it.

I also am curious to about the amount of runs we may expect to get. I'd really like to have some fun in the sea of cones with my VIII STI RA , but if I can only expect to get 2-3 runs its hard to justify rolling down without the big crew & forking out an extra $50.

Thanks for the info

Ok, I figured it would be the same format as last year, but wanted to check since we would be running with the Bremerton guys.

I had so much fun competing against Doug last year! I can't wait for this year to come I didn't know we were being timed with a stop-watch, lol. Should be a lot more fun with a bigger (less brain shaking) venue

Admission is free for kids under 16 and adults over 65.

As far as the autocross, details are still being finalized with the BSCC folks, but as it stands now, the Subaru run group will be during the lunch break for the standard BSCC day. We do not yet know how many runs that will get you (but it should be more than 2-3) but you will not be having to deal with the general population running with you. We have capped the autocross entry number to make sure that there is plenty of time for everyone to set a good time. You will also not be expected to do a work assignment. Hopefully this means that autocrossers will have an opportunity to check out the rest of the show, which has been a complaint from previous years.

Classes are as follows:
Fastest N/A
Fastest Turbo Street
Fastest Turbo Prepared
Fastest BRZ

We are working on getting final details posted from the BSCC event chair, and will have them up as soon as we can.
