Car looks like a beast, love the look. Can you give wheel and tire specs. Can't believe WRX coilovers fit and it took two years for someone to try it. Nice work.

Does that mean that any aftermarket springs (e.g. HR, Eibach, etc) for an 08 WRX will fit the 2013 stock shocks?

I can't see why any other spring would not fit since they are all designed for the stock shock

That sucks to find out now after I spent $404 on rsr and 1" drop. I could have went with any big name company amd more of a drop for half the price. That's what I get for rushing to lower my car without waiting for someone to test out other springs. I love the ride quality of the rsrs and like the slight drop but could have spent a lot less.

did you just use coilovers to raise up your car? Or did you get a lift kit or something?

A quick question for those with RS*R springs, how comfortable is the ride? Let's say the stock springs are a ten out of ten for comfort as a base line, with that in mind how would you rate the RS*R springs out of ten? And those that used other lowering springs for the '08+ WRX, which ones did you use and how would rate those using the same base line?

I ask this because my BC Racing BR Series coilovers are too harsh for my liking, and I'm actually thinking about going back to the stock suspension and just use a set of Subtle Solutions 1/4" or 1/2" Saggy Butt Spacers to balance the car out. But that would change the direction I wanted to take my car, I wanted it to be a lowered street car but now it might become an off road car.

I was thinking about getting the bc coilovers. Out of 10, how harsh is the coilovers comparing with the stock suspension?

I'd rate them a five out of ten, if not worse. On smooth roads they are a dream, and they really improved the cars' handling through turns, but you feel every little bump or crack in the road. And after two weeks, it's gotten unbearable. Especially since I loved the way the stock suspension felt, if I can't find a good replacement with after market springs and/or struts then I'll probably throw some top lift spacers and either balance my car out or have it slightly raked. I might even raise it, and just abandon the street look and go for a more off road aesthetic.

Anyone heard when the H&R kit (part 54463) might become available?

So, we have gathered that the 08+ WRX coilovers WILL 100% bolt onto our 12+ 2.0's, correct? I was considering getting a set of Racelands for a temporary solution..

I wonder how the Epic springs would look? 1.2" drop front and 1.0" drop rear... might actually even out the wheel gap without having to go to coilovers.

Anyone? TireRack still shows them as backordered. Vivid shows them in stock (which could be B.S.), and I am certainly NOT ordering from them. Just wondering if anyone has found them or heard when they might be out.
