Default Tint Star - Albany NY

I've never gotten a car tinted so I have no idea what the price margin is. I have heard nothing but good things about a place called Tint Star near me in Albany NY. If anyone has any insight on them specifically, another option, or if the pricing is way off please help me out.

I was quoted 300 for my 2013 WRX hatch. Another shop in the area quoted 230. Tint Star also quoted my girlfriend 250 for her BRZ yesterday but today when she called they said 200. Confusing.

I called about a mutki car discount if I brought 3 cars and the best price I got for my WRX was 270 and 180 for the BRZ.

Again, any info or insight at all is huge. I know nothing about this.

Thanks!

I have input on the albany tint. Just got my 2009 wrx done on June 14th at Tint World. Got 20% all around and couldn't be happier. The package was $260 before tax for their premium package with lifetime warranties all around. I shopped around since april, got a quote at tint star for $270 and also at tint king for $250. Out of the 3, Tint World was the most professional in my experience. I also got a $30 off coupon from their website (they also do monthly emails with coupons for different services but always include tint). I dropped my car off at 8 am and picked it up by 1030am. Walked out the door for $270 after tax + coupon.

A month later, i'm really happy with the job. Everything cured perfectly (from what i can see).

On an additional note, a friend of mine did go to tint star about 4-5 years ago. Got his WRX done with i believe 20% as well. He has some fading ( but 5 years is understandable) but it still looks good.

Hope this helps. i'm pretty sure all 3 places are on central, so it's definitely not a distance issue.

Ive never had anything done at tint star but i can say that tint king does an excellent job. Be careful because the cheapest price might get you cheap work. I recently had my tail lights done at fine line tint shop in albany. Not sure how his windows come out but my tail lights look great.

I got my WRX tinted at Tint Star. I also go my headlights done with Lamin-X vinyl. I have a mixed review of the place. If you are really serious about trying them PM with with your digits and I can give you a ring. It's a lot to type.
