Default 2013 wrx questions

Just picked up my wrx and looking to make some changes but i have some questions. Can any one tell me if 02-07 shift knobs and shift boots fit the 2013 wrx, and can any one give me some tips and ideas on what should I do to my wrx. It's silver and is the hatch model. Not sure,if I want to go gold or white on the wheels what do you guys think.

Kobs fit, no idea about boot.

Read this. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=533787
Then this. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1674438
And this. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170249
And browse this. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=39

Also, 99% of what you are asking falls under personal preference, and what we say should mean little.

The thread pitch is the same for all the 5spd. So yes the knob will fit. As for the shift boot I am not sure.

I'm personally a fan of bright silver wheels on a silver car. White is too much of a pita to clean. Gold would look good, but still partial to silver on silver.... biased:

This. Silver or hyper black wheels look great on a silver car. I'm biased as well, of course.

shift boots are different. even the 08 is different from 09-13. you need 09-13. i swapped my shift console on my 08 to a 13 and its all different. like others said, all 5 speed subaru knobs are the same thread pitch. just some might not have a boot lock so it stays up.

Congrats on the new car and wleomc to the site. We really cant tell you what to do to your car because thats up to you but as far as power goes your best bang for the buck is a tbe and an ap and tune or a a pro-tune. From there its all up to you. Read the stickys they are packed full of great info and will answer most of if not all of your questions. Def read unabombers manifesto before modding.

I just got a 2013 wrx sedan about 3 months ago. I did a few mods. I really recommend the Cobb access port, and Cobb sf with box. I also have the nameless performance muffler deletes. I am very pleased with the sound! Congrats on the new car!

JPM Coachworks makes good leather and alcantara shift boots. They also make matching e-brake boots and armrest covers. I have all three and it matches my leather seats perfectly.

Default Accessport question

Sorry stupid question but I just bought my first impreza wrx and have question about the access port. I was reading up on the installation process and it states it is very easy to uninstall is that true. I am worried about issues with my warranty and voiding it. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

From reading on here ( i don't personally have one so correct me if I'm wrong) It should be easy to reload your stock maps and put it back to stock, problem is from everything I've read the dealer would still know if they checked out the ecu. So it would come down to what the SOA rep the inspects warranty claims would let slide.

This thread has ZERO percent to do with what you are asking. Denying and voiding are 2 completely different things. You need to take time and SEARCH the forum instead of making a broad question.
