I'll be one of the few here in n00b that really knows what a different CR does to the engine.
But how would I know what the CR of the ****ty USDM 205 is?

im getting a short block and CR is 8.5 so how much will it mess with the ECU if i run it before the tune? is it going to go a bat s crazy pulling a tone of timing out or is it going to knock? I just wanted to make sure that it will be ok or find out if i need to get it towed to the shop for the tune?
