They are. Was between a BRZ limited and the Abarth. Walk in preapproved. . . Makes buying easier. Abarthwon. Interior and just fun factor of weird quirkiness outweighed the I see too many BRZ Iin the gym parking lot along with mini coopers. Counted 5 BRZ yesterday alone. It was torquey and handling was nice but price tag and I hated the cheap cardboard fat ass seats like my old STI. Interior was better than FRS but I thought the limited I was in was a premium. There was no wow.

Abarths are rare enough, especially up here, that I still get excited when I see one. Can't say the same for a BRoZ.

Look at that, someone goes and buys a rarity and they start popping up all over.

I just saw a black one with red stripes in Palmer.

The Italians are invading Alaska. ERMYGERD!!!

I saw a white Masersati Quattroporte the other day. Such a sexy sedan.

I'd love to have one of those or an Aston Martin DB9 or a Vanquish. You know -- nothing special or too flashy.

Angela got to sit in an Abarth last weekend and loved it. I got to listen to it as it passed by later and was impressed by the angry and quite loud stock exhaust. She said to tell Hope she's jello.

Ya, Brian said he just saw a black one or at least fiat yesterday. Go figure. Still rare and not a dime a dozen. Apparently all of pnw bought the 6k brz's because I trip on them here and of course everyone who jumped on the bandwagon.

Brian wanted me to really consider one but it just didn't wow me. Love the look but interior was very lacking for the pricetag. Used and a good deal I would have considered it more. Abarth is more me. It's odd and quirky with a deep growl and quickness. Just a lot of fun and the interior is very modern and euro.

I would have loved the rag top but can't imagine it being a good option for ak nor worth the hefty up charge. I bought used with 3 yrs and 39k miles still left on warranty. Saved a good chunk and much better ability to negotiate price.

No doubt, just saw a new GTR with dealer plates the other day, and been seeing one every few days around town.

Yeah, right after I spied the red Abarth. (to be honest couldve been a standard with a canvas roof as I've seen.... uhhh .. one, in person) I spied the black GTR of P3.

As for back on topic... I bought filters and oils and conductive thread sealant to change the oils on both Euro's this weekend.

BTW, Abarth I approve.... Fiat = Euro

Well, I will say I found something that should work. Not what I am wanting but more conductive than standard thread sealant.

Yup considered a db9 prior to the gtr purchase just because I haven't seen one up here, but opted not to go the high end euro route.

There's a powder blue Aston-Martin convertible up here in Fairbanks. I saw it ripping around a week ago. I don't know the models well enough to tell what it was.

So, for back on topic-ness, I did a few things to the non-subies this weekend.

Corrado - Removed Oil filter housing and all the oil sensors, including the Teflon sealant from them I had previously used. Cleaned all sensors and then used a copper/metal anti-sieze when refitting the sensors. Re-installed the oil filter housing and then changed the oil & filter. Decided to give this Shell Rotella T6 5w40 stuff a go. While I was at it also scrubbed/power washed the skid plate. Then gave it a bath and simple exterior detail.

S4 - Did a simple oil & filter change using AmsOil 0w30, while in there also decided to hose off the skidplate. Also gave her a much needed bath and exterior detail.

Honda - Did a much needed oil change on it as well, seeing as I was in "that mode", and found that I need to get a new air filter. Also gave it a good pressure washing.

I unfortunately ran out of steam to do the interiors of them.
