I have a very similar drop with very similar wheel/tire sizes and you'll be fine.

Simmer down. Was just making sure the bit of difference in offset wasnt enough to cause any issues. Thanks guys. Wheels and tires are ordered. Pics next week when it all arrives

Rear has very little room, a very slight roll would just ease my mind a little bit in the event i hit a pretty nasty bump. roads around here are generally pretty good though. I cant get a finger btwn the tire and fender.

You should be fine with that as the others have said, especially since you've got slightly less silly springs. I'm looking to upgrade to some coilovers potentially really just wanted to see how it looked lowered. Love it.

2009 WRX
Lowered on Eibach Pro kit and 2011 wrx struts (not like that matters but just in case)
Fast Wheels Komodo
18x8.5 +48 offset
235/40 18 Cooper Zeon HPT Tires

Only had em on for the morning but don't appear to have any rubbing issues driving them around town. Anyway on with the pics.

^ the '11 wrx struts bolted up okay? I thought they were a bit different than the '09+ struts.

Why did you use the 2011's? Are they improved over the 2009's, which improved over the 2008's?

Nope. Bought them from a forum member with the eibachs already mounted on them. It's was purely a matter of convenience. Plus they were low mileage and basically brand new.

If you put 08-10 designed struts on an 11+ it'll add in some camber because of slight design change.

So I'd assume that if you put 11+ struts on a 08-10 it's going to naturally take away some camber.
Have you had it aligned yet?

Question Has anyone given these a shot?

XXR 530
18x8.75
Color
Chromium Black
Bolt Pattern 5-100/5-114.3

Offset +33

Backspacing 6.17

Centerbore 73.1

TPMS Compatible Yes

Approx. Weight 21.2

JWL/VIA Certified Yes
Required Lug Nuts Tuner Style

I really like these but haven't come across anyone with over an 8.5 wide wheel with less than +38... Have an 08 sedan. I'm on stock suspension right now but am planning on ordering either epic springs, or H&M (1-1.3ish rear, 1.2-1.5ish front)

they ARE different, to accomodate for the wider track.

they "bolt right in", but to put 11+ in a 08-10, you have less available negative camber and perhaps a slightly higher ride height in the front. to go 08-10 struts in a 11+, you have more available negative camber, and probably will lower the front.

look at the photo comparision between the RCE blacks on stock 11+ struts:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...54&postcount=1

vs koni's in 09 donor struts:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...3&postcount=25

the front is a bit lower with the 09 strut bodies.

08's springs and dampers are camry soft, 09-10 have stiffer springs (same as 08-10 STi) and stiffer dampers, 11+ have the same springs, but slightly stiffer damping.

Thanks! I am not 100% sure on the lip as I got it for free in exchange for helping someone. I've been told it is either from a 06/07 sti or 05-08 lgt lol. there is not brand stamp on it either so I dont even know who makes it. it took some extra bending to get it to fit, but can't argue with the price

Ok heres my 2010 WRX:

Fortune Auto 500 Coilovers, 10k front/8k rear - set to full stiff (rides amazing)
Cusco rear lower control arms
Rota Grid Chameleon 18x9.5 +38 (225/40/18 Achilles ATR Sport Tires)
Front camber is -1.8, Rear camber is -2.6, 0 toe all around, 6.5 caster

I rolled the Rears flat, but i could probably get away without doing that with a 225 tire. Front lips are rolled about halfway. I still have the fender liners in all around, with minor rubbing only in the fronts on really harsh bumps!
