guilty as charged...31 with a 2011 sti...i traded in my 2007 audi a4 for the subie. most people think i took a step back and trying to look young...some people have even told me to act my age...of course, these people have never been in an sti...

32 currently driving an 06 limited wrx. Stepped up to a stage 2 with other modest upgrades and many more planned for the future. By far the last car/make that I will ever drive again.

I'm 30 with an 04 Wrx. Outside mods: flat black roof on aspen white. Cobb springs and 17" Rotas. Wingless and scoopless. She hasn't had a bath in a year. So the aspen white is more like aspen grey. I'm into what's under the hood, not how shiny she is.

36 with an 09 STI. And loving every second of it! No regrets what so ever. Young or old everyone seems pretty damn good about helping people learn about these awesome machines. Never could afford one when I was younger. I had it in a bad way when I saw my first GC in the military at a dealership. Just got her in February on my b-day. Best gift I ever bought myself.

I'm 32 and just bought a used 2010 wrx sedan, I love this car so much. I couldn't afford this type of car when I was younger but since I can now i had to go for it. I'm planning many mods as well!

OK, I admit it... I am 47. I bought my first Subaru in February 2013 - a new WRX hatch. I quickly got tint and 18 inch Enkei's. Soon after that came coilovers and swaybars. Next was a Cobb AP. Lastly the Cobb TBE.

I'm now jones'ing for the next mod and my first 'spotted' post.

Deuces!

I'll be 30 this year, and love my 06 STI. 2 years ago I had just purchased a 2011 Prius to commute with, and a 2011 Impreza to go on trips with. I sold them both, and bought the STi and an old truck. The STi is my daily beater, and the truck is my adventure mobile. I am saving for a Lamborghini, all jokes aside. Vasectomy, and a small house. Live modestly, drive conservatively.

There is nothing like knowing when you turn 50, you will walk into an exotic dealer with a briefcase full of cash and say, I'll take that one please.

My ex wife can kiss my ass. Haha. My daughter can sit in the passenger seat.

Bottom line is, I think a lot of non-car people think a WRX/STi isn't "age appropriate" once you get over 30. But these aren't car people.

I am a little over 30, and am on my second WRX... super modified. At times I've thought about "upgrading" to a G37 or S4... but realistically I would only be doing so to fill some concept about what someone my age belongs in.

IMO, whatever car you love should be inspiring. If Subies inspire you... keep it, be happy, screw the rest.

you hit it on the head dude, when I was shopping for an S4, i wanted something more mature to drive to the office. Truth is my suby puts a smile on my face every time I drive.

I never understood why you have to have a luxury car to be "mature", and why a $30k WRX/STi is not.

31 here, always wanted a scooby, but never had the job to support the payment. Now I am in a good place career wise and can easily afford it. Love my car and hopefully one day when I'm about 60 it will be on blocks and the new scooby in the garage.

33 here, married, 3 cats lol. Just got my 2013 wrx last month, first time owning a new car. Couldn't afford one when I was younger so finally having one is great. Got the extended warranty so no performance mods for a while, but planning a front lip and mud flaps soon, roof rails will be here tomorrow.

36 with a 2012 wrx limited. Needed a new car to commute to DC with. Was driving a 97 ford ranger with no AC so this is a welcomed change.

30 and I'm on my 2nd Suby. Bought my '05 WRX used in 2008. Sold it before I deployed and then bought a '13 STi for my 30th birthday in June! It sits with 34 miles on it waiting in a storage locker until I get back from my deployment! Talk about a miserable wait...
