Just a dumb question. Is there not a health risk with a halon system?

No but I deployed the rod quick release feature

Still not sure what happened guys as we haven't touched the car since the shop is so backed up on customer engine builds. I'm really leaning towards spun bearing at this point but nothing to back that up.

If that's the case we'll get on a dry sump system right away as we only plan on going quicker.

Halon is heavier than air so yes there is a health risk if you filled your lungs with Halon, however you should be out of the car and not inhaling it.

Trust me when I say the burning engine and plastic smoke it way worse! I got one breath and just about passed out.
