Default APv2 for 2007 STi stuck on UPDATING screen

I have a 2007 STi and have had my AP since 2007 and NEVER once ran into problems. I was on Cobb's website just browsing around and saw they had new firmware updates so I figured why not just go ahead and update. Now my AP is stuck at this updating screen... and everytime I open up AP Manager and try to update it I get errors saying update failed, try different usb ports or usb cables... I've done all that and I e-mailed COBB and still havent heard back from them. Please help if you know whats wrong? If you need more info this is as much as I can provide...

I have a 2007 STi, I am NOT using a MAC, I am NOT using USB 3.0 ports or cables when trying to do this update, my AP is a v2 running Firmware u1.1.2.0-4297 and I am trying to update it to the newest firmware which is u1.6.7.8-6381

Here are some pics of the errors and where it gets stuck at...

Not seen that issue before. Maybe a device failure.
Cobb is your best bet. They are usually available by phone call.

Sorry for your troubles.

The best option is to try to to update on a different PC, if that is possible. Also you can try updating your Accessport Manager software to the latest beta version (check "Check for Beta Accessport Manager" under options). Install and re-boot, then try to update again. If that doesn't work, hitting ctrl+shift+F11 and try updating again. I've forwarded your info to our CSR group.

Well I just tried a different PC and still didn't work. I tried to check for Beta Accessport Manager and updated it and still nothing. Tried to do everything you said and still in the same position I was in yesterday... Pretty upset...

I had the exact same issue a few days ago when I was uploading some datalogs and followed the prompt at the bottom of the screen to update to the latest firmware version.

After hitting ctrl, shift and f11, I clicked on the "exit updater mode" button on the bottom left and thankfully my AP got out of that screen and returned to normal. Everything works fine so I don't plan to update unless they fix that bug. I noticed on the error log it said unable to download from www.accessecu.com site or something like that.

One of our CSR representatives should be in contact with your shortly (based on the email you sent). It looks like you were upgrading from a very old version of the firmware that can sometimes cause problems when you attempt to update. One way or another, we will get you taken care of.

I have the same issue, except on a Macbook Pro.

Older AP apparently. What should I do?
