Default New Nissan Terrano Small SUV Spied Undisguised

Quote:
Nissanís small SUV is everything you expected ó the Dusterís capabilities and affordability with a Nissan face and badge. Actually, thatís not completely true. While a budget-oriented SUV, the Terrano will be less stripped of content than the Duster, featuring more tech features and some higher quality materials. It will command a slightly higher price, as a result.
With regards to power, buyers will likely have the option of a Renault-sourced 1.5-liter four-cylinder dCi turbodiesel and a 1.6-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine, as well as either a front- or four-wheel drive configuration.
Like the Duster, the Nissan Terrano was designed for emerging markets. But while the Dacia competes mainly in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (North Africa, specifically), the rugged Nissan will likely focus on the Asian Pacific region.

I like the looks of it, for the most part. Back looks a bit hatchback-ish but that's okay.

I like it better than the Rogue and Juke.

Nissan needs to evaluate it's styling department. Their models range from strange looking to extremely bland but nothing really nice in between. IMO this design is a mess and the inverted chin front end looks homely and odd, squared off, oversized wheel wells that look like they were sized to handle strickly 22" wheels/tires.

The Maxima was close...AWD stick smaller, they could of nailed it. Honda caught on. The next TL going to be smaller, lighter, more power.

The grill has looked terrible on their Titan for 40 years, and it looks like complete garbage on this. Waiting for it to appear on the next Sentra or Maxima.

Who designs Nissans? Dropouts from Art Center? "Hmm, okay, it looks like you attended Art Center. Very impressive. Doesn't have dates, here. Oh well, just provide us with a semester transcript, or something that looks like a semester transcript, and we'll get you setup with a desk and 3 new model ideas we will rush into production..."

Nissan.

Ahh, now I understand why I think it doesn't look so bad.

They should have left the front end alone and just replaced badges.

^ this. The rear is mini-Xtera, so why change it at all? I actually like the Duster. It would sell buckets over the Juke in USA, too.

Oof, what is that? Well, I would take that iteration over the ugly inside AND outside Nissan version. I wouldn't mind the cheapo interior if this thing came in at dirt bottom pricing.
