Default Datalog Check and question.

Hi, I would like some feedback on my logs.

I’ve upgraded to stage 2 a month ago and running the stage 2 91 map.

I was always getting fine knock learning (as in log #1) and changed from ultramar 91 gas to shell 91 for 2 tanks and the fine knock learning stopped the minute i changed.(log #2)

Does the gas have an effect on it or the ecu finally adjusted itself?

Also, do you see anything in the logs that could be problematic or should require further investigation?

I'm wondering if i should change to high wastegate map since i seem to be underboosting even if i’m close to the +/-1 range.

Thanks !

On Canadian gas, I would start with the 91ACN map. Go ahead and reflash the HWG version of the map and get a few more runs, if you can do so safely. You had a minor correction (single count) of fine knock learning that was already learning back to 0 - not a concern here, but get additional data logs on the 91ACN HWG map.

Thanks for the feedback Bill.

I changed for the 91ACN HWG map and did more logging. It is better for boost specially at lower rpm, closer to target but still not achieving it. Higher rpm seems lower.

I didn't get any fineknock learning on the logs but saw some minor while doing some live data (2nd-3rd gears while giving some gas,).

Is there something I should do to be closer to boost target or this is acceptable? How does it look?

Log 3-(3rd) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...1E&usp=sharing

Log 4- (2-3rd pull) https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...3c&usp=sharing

Log 5- (3rd)

Thanks again.

PS: My setup is COBB TBE + COBB uppipe and stock intake.

You are within 1 psi of the boost target in 3rd gear so you are good to go. Higher boost levels in 3rd could cause you to overboost in higher gears so we generally like to see a slight underboost in 3rd, which is what is occurring here.
