I used to have a local member clean them with some menzerna but he sold his sti and moved on. I tried rubbing compound on a foam disc and pfffff nothing close.

Try using some 1500 then buff the headlights. Should come out very good. Mine were completely faded and were useless at night. Did on mine and came out perfectly clear.

Let me make sure again, but yes. You use it to remove any pitting on the headlights and to remove whatever impurities on them. After that, just buff the headlights and they'll be like new again.

You can use 1500, then go over it with 2000, then use compound on a orbital buffer then polish, then wax if you want them to really pop...

Nope I personally will never use sand paper on my peanut lamps again I tried such a feat and ended up at a detailer. He had to correct the swirl marks I made. Took him 45min to Get the lamps to quality. There for I am looking for someone that knows what their doing

Sorry that Dave bailed on you, I don't have anyone to send people to anymore than. I haven't detailed a car in almost 2 years and I barely even wash my MS3 anymore.

Once you DO get them detailed and fixed, I recommend using that 3M spray on clear bra over them as added protection, I hear it's good stuff!
