I love working with these guys. They are always able to answer my questions and give me advice about products or install tips when i plan to do the work myself. Matt now knows my name when I come in and it is really refreshing to know a shop cares about their customers.

They have done the following for me with no issues:

Short throw shifter install
Shifter bushings
Transmission bushings
Numerous tire mount and balances
Bilstein shocks and RCE yellow spring install
Alignment
A few oil changes
As well as the numerous parts I have bought from them and installed myself.

They are located near my office and convenient for me to get to. I have an appointment this Tuesday for another tire mount and balance. I will continue to work with Mach V!

Thanks guys!

Default Another great tune from Dan and the Mach V Team

I've had several pro tunes from Dan between my 09 Wrx and now my 2011 Sti. This time I pulled the trigger on Stage 2. Dans shop did a great install on my downpipe, and as always his dyno tune was super excellent. Car feels absolutely amazing now, pulls very hard and turbo spools nice and fast. Car is now putting down 289 hp/325 torque, but still retains a good safety margin- After extensive data logging the tune has been knock free and everything is in line. Dan and Matt are always a pleasure to do business with, and will continue to receive my business in the future. Thanks again guys!

Maybe i didnt look hard enough on the web but this is about the only place where i could find a good price for a WRX OEM flywheel. I ordered the OEM flywheel and received it 4-5 days later and nicely packaged. Just want to say "THANKS" to www.fastwrx.com

Another +1 for Mach V. Stopped through today and got the SPT heat shield installed over the stock one on my WRX. I PM'd them on here and Matt answered within a few hours. Bought the parts online and Matt called when they came in to schedule the install. Fairly quick work and plenty of cool things in the shop to keep me busy while I waited. Thanks fellas.

Super huge thanks to Dan and crew at Mach V. Ordered my AP yesterday, it was here when I got home today. Awesome service. Updating the AP right now, install later tonight.

Just had my car tuned by Dan and had a great experience. Not the first time I've been to them for work/parts and definitely won't be the last. I'm glad I live not too far from these guys.

I believe I've posted in this thread a few times. If not, I should have as I've been taking my cars there for almost 10 years. Mach V is fantastic! Great group of folks that are honest, extremely knowledgable, and fun to be around.

Most recently Dan and crew were able to quickly diagnose and replace a dead O2 sensor even though no CEL was present. The car is much more enjoyable to drive now and my gas mileage has almost doubled for my commute to work! Normally replacing an O2 sensor isn't a big deal, but the fact that even without CEL codes present, and only going on my description of the car's behavior, Mach V knew what the issue was and fixed it correctly the first time. Great work!

hey guys, I am looking for a tune for my 2008 spec.b. Currently it has a larger process west top mount, turboxs catless downpipe, spt catback, turbo heat shield. I was wondering what kind of deal I could get on a tune, I will also need some type of tuning software, like cobb AP. but I am not a huge fan of cobb just because when I was young and dumb I ran the cobb ap stage 2 ots map, and ran it hard. engine went 2500 miles later. I later had a protune done on the ap and it was flawless. But yeah point is, I need a tune, and like everyone says Im on a budget. PM me or message on here and let me know what would be the next step.

Sorry for the late reply, but I don't really hang out here in our own review thread much. I kind of feel like I should leave it to reviewers to speak.

But of course we're happy to tune your car. Give us a call to talk more about it. (571) 434-8333.

Recently I had an opportunity to visit the shop out in Sterling. I called in on a Thursday to schedule a time next week (vacation) to get a tune after installing the Mitsi downpipe and TurboXs Bov. They took their time explained to me what was going to happen and even let me go back and watch them while they did one of the pulls on the dyno. While I was asking an array of dumb questions I ended up purchasing a part from them and a T-Shirt.

After everything was all said and done they talked to me about the pull what all they saw going on with the car and even recommended what my next couple of purchased might be for more power. As it turned out I purchased one of those parts while I was there. They even updated my flash image for the new part I purchased and as of today I installed the part and flashed the ECU and everything works like a dream. I can't complain about a single thing.

Over all I was really pleased with my service at Mach V. I love how informative they were and their rich history with their customers. I look forward to future visits. I already have my next two mods planned out for my next dyno run.

I'm not very pleased. I have a mach v motorsports sticker in my back window... my car runs like crap and a bunch of parts are missing. They wouldn't tell me whet they did. All and all. I am going somewhere else!

It's not what I had done. It's what they did. Before I bought the car.

Mach V motorsports tuned my 05 sti for the previous owner. Now I have a permanent sticker imprint in the rear windshield's tint, and I just ended up having to replace all of the vacuum lines running to what is called the purge valve solenoid, due to everything being blocked off and the boost control solenoid was hooked up backwards with the lines just crammed under stuff to try to hide it. Now I am out of pocket for $1200 in parts and labor, and since they "don't keep track of customers cars after they leave," the check engine light is on, and nobody there could tell me anything about the car. Even if I gave them the vin they still told me that I would have to bring it up there and then pay more money to see if it is stock map. If it were me, I would rather have turboxs in Maryland or agile tuning is another place I was told about. Either way, please let me know about your experience with them if you go through mach v... I am medically retired from the army, so I would like the feedback to let my other friends in my car club and in my area know what your experience with them is like since you are having factory services done, maybe you will have better luck. Thanks again, and let me know if I can be of any assistance to you as far as repair work and troubleshooting goes.

i'm confused by this post... Why blame Mach V for a sticker on tint? That's a previous car owner problem.

Out of pocket $1200? Why didn't you get a good thorough inspection before buying the car? Seems like you're blaming Mach V for things out of their control.

If you wanted to know info about the car you should ask the person you bought it from . Being tuned and having done work on are two different things. My car is tuned by Brentuning but they have not done any of the work.
