Default 2.5 JDM head info

I recently acquired some 2.5L JDM heads from a 2007 Subaru, make and model unknown. The heads were form a imported long block and the person who bought the engine couldnt/didnt use the heads because the heads have AVCS. I have an 04 STi body harness and ECU to run the AVCS but I cannot find any information on these heads. The casting markings on the heads are RH B 003 and LH B 003. Im pretty sure these came off a NA engine because the AVCS oil feed line on the passenger side doesnt have the turbo feed coming from the banjo fitting and the inside of the valve covers are marked NA-RH and NA-LH.

The combustion chambers look quite like the b25 but I dont know for sure it they are or if the cams/valves are the same.

My best guess is they are the same head as the b25 but would like confirmation. But if they are different, why are they different?

I have the timing belt covers and discovered the white ID tag which is a little messed up.

The parts I can read are

?J?54DXAKE-0DE 41????BY10

I put EJ254DXAKE into google and I seems this might have been an East Africa Model EADM?

Now, are there any differences between the USDM and "EADM" NA 2.5 heads?

I guess if nobody has any info I would need to check the cam lobes and the combustion chamber displacement to see if this will be worth trying to use on my build.

I don't think any NON turbo engines have AVCS.

I did a CC check on one of the chambers and it is 49cc which is the same as the ej257 IIRC. I also checked the cam lobes. Intake was ~46.5mm for both valves and the exhaust ~45mm and ~46.5mm and they were a little staggered and the duration was different also.

Still doesn't mean it has AVCS. Good luck on your research.

It has AVCS for sure! I'm just not 100% sure it was off an NA engine. But if it is off an NA engine does it make much of a difference.

Measurement from a couple of those spots would be greatly appreciated!
