Good to hear direct feedback about products for when I'm going to head down that route.

I really like the sound of those numbers. Unfortunately e85 isn't the most convenient thing where I live.

There are only 2 e85 stations near me.
One is 13.1mi away (36min w/o traffic) - Jeffersonville, PA.
The other is 10.7mi away (26min w/o traffic) - Center City Philly, PA.

My future plans for the car are:
-Clutch
-Brakes
-PnP stock VF52
-Ceramic Coat stock VF52
-TGV Deletes
-Phenolic Intake Manifold Spacers
-Turbo Inlet Pipe
-New Tune

I plan to do the clutch and brakes in the next few months. But to be honest I really gotta start putting money into my wife's car in preparation of trading it in next September (2014). So, I don't know if I'll get to the power mods before then. Likely July of 2014. I might consider e85 down the road when we get her a new car and I have a backup. Right now her car just isn't reliable enough for me to risk the motor or trans on my car more than I already have.

If I cross the e85 bridge, I'll get rid of my cat-pipe in favor of a test pipe since it burns so clean.

Thank you very much. It's always nice to get feedback. Positive or negative. But I always prefer the positive.

It's obvious especially after today how much I need to invest in a circular polarizer lense.

Definitely Greg! I'm totally down for that. Just let me know when and where and I'll be there.

Just an update:
Took my car to the dealership on Monday. Got my inspection, emissions and an oil change done. For those curious, my car passed PA state emissions with no problem. Even with header back exhaust (TurboXS high flow catted downpipe).
Interestingly, they made a point to give me a printout that claims it did in fact pass emissions. Never received a printout like that before. Don't know if that's just a new state standard or if they did that in case I get pulled over and harassed for my exhaust. Either way, I don't mind carrying that around in the glove box just in case such an occasion should occur.

Just over 42k miles now. While I was there I mentioned my squeaky clutch pedal and asked them to look at it if they had time. Well, they had time. They took their sweet-ass time. I usually wait with my car wherever I have it serviced. I guess I don't really trust people with it enough to just leave it. So I was there for about 3hrs.

When it was finished they told me the squeaky clutch pedal is related to the spot welds on the firewall (no big surprise). They need my car for "several days" and it will be covered under my extended warranty. So I scheduled that appointment for the first week in September. They are providing me with a loaner. After this work is completed, I'm considering investing in an aftermarket clutch. Looking at the ACT Heavy Duty Street Series Clutch. Just need to do more research whether or not an aftermarket clutch will accelerate this spot weld issue from happening again in the future.

That is all for now.

Wow man...

I've been worried about mine having that issue too. I get the squeaky clutch sometimes, but more worrying for me is the fact that I get a "clicking" sound when using the brake with the clutch depressed. I think it's the whole pedal assembly moving slightly.

:/

That sucks. I need to listen for that specifically. I have heard clicking but haven't put two and two together. I'll let you know.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with how this car has aged. Definitely better than my MKIV R32.

Great pics of your car! That's a really clean look! Let me know if you're still having issues with that firewall; it seems we're all getting hosed from SOA. It can be fixed but get ready to have some fun with that dash.

Thank you for the compliments. She goes in on Tuesday for the firewall repair under my extended warranty. I'll keep you guys posted.

Greg, I did notice some pretty bad clicking coming from the pedal assembly. I'll mention that to them on Tuesday when I drop it off.

Just one more update (or two):
I'm currently rubbing on my front driver's side fender or fender liner under hard cornering or bumpy roads. If its my fender liner, I'll trim it a bit more with my dremel. If it's my fender, I might need a touch up on my pull and possibly a touch more camber.

Secondly, I have a nail in one of my tires. Currently at 8/32" and they measure new at 10/32". Going to utilize TireRack's tread shaving service to match the tread depth for the small additional service charge ($20-$35). Didn't know bout that service until a buddy of mine mentioned it. Definitely a good option even though I'm within spec of what Subaru allows, I want to prevent any pulling.
