Sorry to dig up an old thread...but I'm curious, do you remember if they left a good amount of bleed room around the film? Just picked up a smoked set for my 2011 DGM hatch. How are they holding up now that you've had them for a winter?

No worries,
The ones that I used had more than a couple inches on every side to pull and form. After 2 years they still look as good as the day I put them on. No corners have pulled up, bubbled or peeled. They haven't faded one bit.
Really happy with them overall.

Good luck with the install man!

Well, got it done. Not 100% perfect....a couple small bubbles here and there....but overall, they came out pretty decent. If they make it till the end of next summer...I'd be pretty happy with that. Thanks for the help !

Default First Mod - IAG taillight kit install '11 hatch

I thought I'd chime in if anyone reads this for overlay advice. IAG is the biggest piece of **** product on the market. The overlay vinyls are absolutely horrible... They crinkle way too easy and cause bubbles, creases and tear easily, the instructions are poorly written in English and make no sense, and they don't stick as advertised. I started on mine and laughed at how horrible this product is. I'd choose a different route if you're considering IAG - they suck.
