Default RokBlokz vs Rally Armor Mud Flaps

Hey,
So getting to the point of wanting some mud flaps (long awaited). Just watched an install video for the Rally Armor flaps and it seems pretty simple. Personally as price is a factor, Rokblokz fall about half the price of RA so I'd probably be aiming towards the RB flaps, but does Rokblokz come with the same mounting hardware???
Can anyone help out?
Thanks!!

They come with the needed hardware to properly install. It might vary slightly, but it's not complicated.

Interesting, I'd never heard of these. They look nice on the site, they seem to be well made/presented which leads me to believe they'd have a good way to mount.

I just installed rally armor 2 days ago and I love them, took just over 2 hours. For half the price RBs seem like a good deal.

RB are pretty nice and have survived over a year in the California desert. Installed easily and fast. I just put STi logos on instead of the RB logo.

Hi Cripps

Your widebody application lacks mounting points found in previous Impreza models (on both the front and the rear of the vehicle).

Along with our flexible UR series mud flaps, we provide precision engineered rubber backed stainless steel brackets (drill -free) that place the mounting points correctly on the fender edge for the both front and rear of the vehicle, and allow for additional interior wheel well clearance.

In addition to our video installation,

below is a link to all of our printable installation instructions that may also assist in clarifying the installation procedure

Thanks much

Rokblokz, DRT, and Flapatax are all cheaper alternatives to Rally Armor. Compare all available and purchase what you like.

I personally have Flapatax, and they are the same material as Rokblokz and DRT/Rally Armor. Shape is SLIGHTLY different, and mounting hardware is similar.

With that in mind, stop over thinking simple things and buy what you like.

Thanks for all the info guys. I do like the loyalty of the customers of RA but the price for me is a bit much when I can get something the same for half the price.
If the mounting hardware has very little difference I'll probably roll with the RB's!

Just know you usually get what you pay for. The quality of Rally Armors is by far the best I've seen thus far. Most other mudflaps that I've seen don't seem quite right or are mounted pretty jank. Just some food for thought when looking at buying.

Hi Hinshaw,

The 2013 Widebody Sedan application referenced above is not similar to any of the types you mention, especially in material characteristics, mounting procedure, and overall bracketry construction (materials) design, and availability.

Again it is important to note, the new widebody applications are unlike previous Impreza models as they do not have OEM mounting points for extended mud flap applications.

Our UR application is flexible- reducing strain on the vehicle body parts they mount to (in situations where contact can be made, always a possibility with an extended mud flap application)

In addition our precision stainless/ drill free mounting method places the mounting points correctly on the vehicle and allows for additional clearance for both OEM and aftermarket wheel setups:

Rally Armor, since you're in here and answering questions...would you guys sell a set of only the front mud flaps only? I've got a set for the backs already.

I've got the RokBlokz and I really like them!! Super nice customer support (since I was one of the first to get them on the '11 sedan). Install was a breeze and very similar to the RA's but way less money.

Interesting, I wish I would have known about these other brands before I bought my set of Rally Armor flaps. I was completely on the fence about even getting mud flaps that stick out, but after seeing several cars equipped with them I couldn't resist.

If you have the money to spend you cant go wrong with the RallyArmor UR sets.

I had Rally Armour UR and one of the backs ripped off, I wont be purchasing them again. A friend has RallyTech and they come with a aluminum "L" bracket to help hold them on. I bought some RallyFlapz out of the UK (blue w/yellow wrx logo) quality is better and also comes with the aluminum bracket.

Both Rally Tech and RallyFlapz quality is better than Rally Armour, except theUS market is flooded with "our" only brand.... Rally Aromur. I will not put those on my car again.

The RallyFlapz I bought....

And my friend compared his RA UR to his new RallyTechs.....the RallyTechs are thicker and have better hardware.

I have RA flaps on my 2011 wrx, and after losing one two a small curb, I went back and forth on having rears. I put them back on, thought it was too much, cut them down and still can't get them to look good. Just kept the fronts on for now. They've done their job and kept crap off the sides of the car. There isn't much to them.

Rally armor flaps are good, but I feel a little uneasy about the rear ones only having one plastic screw holding it to the car. I'm guessing it'll hold.
