Yup stock injectors not even a fuel pump although close to maxing the injectors out. tuned at 20psi 92oct. Your tq is very low too. How does it feel though? Numbers dont really mean everything but damn that tq is low.

Spools really fast and boost holds really well with the Ewg(loud). I am swapping out for a Blouch dom 1.5 xtr and fic 900. I feel this will suffice well above my goal of 300whp.

Very interested in picking up a VF48 thanks to this thread! Anyone have any numbers with the billet wheel? Thinking of picking one up and getting it rebuilt by 6 Star Speed + Billet Wheel + PnP. If I can crack 300awhp I would be a happy camper which seems to be the case for a few 2.5L in this thread.

got a brand new VF48 with a walbro fuel pump 255, silicon turbo inlet and a grimmspeed EBCS for my WRX 2006. I have already a TBE invidia catless N1, SPT CAI, STI TMIC, Short shifter Cobb, 5 JDM Defi gauges. Now running on Cobb Stage 2 map.

I did not install the new parts yet am excited. The tuner shop is like 600km away from my home. I do not live in the US. With those modds is it better to go for Cobb protune or Ecutek tuning? I need some opinions based on previous experience. thanks.

advices?

Advice please....currently deployed looking to get this project under way when i return to the states.
my current plans for VF48 build on 93 fuel on my 2002 WRX

- 2L short block w/ forged pistons, rods, race bearings, light weight pulley, STi oil pump, pick up tube, pan
- Grimmspeed 8mm spacers between (gutted) tgv and (stock) heads
- Grimmspeed coated up-pipe
- VF48
- DW fuel pump
- 3'' (catless) Perrin TBE
- SPT intake
- Tomei turbo inlet
- Grimmspeed AOS
- Grimmspeed EBCS
- Tuned via Cobb AP V.2

The part i'm unsure of is correct sized injectors and TMIC to use? i wanna run this 48 till she's blue in the face and runs outta air....
650cc, 750cc, larger?
08+ STi TMIC or Grimmspeed/TurboXS TMIC possibly FMIC if better option
also didn't see many people running ELH with the 48... would it be worth the extra 600-1000 bones?

Main goal is to have a fun street car that's over built so when funds allow build up the **** box 5 speed transmission so i can swap to a larger turbo 20G+ and/or add E85.
Sorry to ramble, Suggestions?

^^ on 93, your really shouldn't need any bigger than 650's. Since you plan on running E85 in the future, then I'd just get ID 1000's right off the bat though. As for a TMIC, I'd look into either the Grimmspeed or Process West.
