My afr is 11.1, when I what the wideband at wot goes all the way to 10.8 and by 4000rpm hits 11.1 I have tried putting my logs up but it won't let me. The Cobb ap maxes out at 11.1 and won't show the 10.8 and them moving up. The hardest part of my tune was getting the primary ignition and dynamic advance right where I wanted it for power torque and no knock. That took a long time. I found that more timing does not always mean more power but I finally got where I wanted to be and where I felt safe. I also tuned my avcs map and that was hard also. I still don't 100% understand the system except I know that tuning hand in hand with ignition timing helps with my fuel economy. Everyone said the intake would take the longest but that wasn't to bad.

awesome. ive done some basic tuning but obviously you've done a lot more in depth(im still waiting on afr gauge and pod). you can upload the log in google drive and then just post the link to it. your setup is about exactly what im hoping for so im sure ill be picking your brain a bit on the tuning side of it.

Im not hating I am just amazed at a lot of these threads I only put down 330whp when I had my vf52 on e85 at 24psi. But I don't agree that anything is possible you can only run a small turbo so far before it blows hot air but these vf52 seem to put down power like a 18g.

Yeah I find with the vf52 I get more power at 20-21psi then I would if I went any higher than that. Because your maxing the turbo out above 23-24&25psi. That's why I won't let it boost higher than 21. My boost peaks at like 20.8 then tapers to 19 and holds. I like this turbo for now but I want to get the Perrin rotated setup to just all out drive faster than I ever have. I know that when I go rotated I will have to upgrade the MAP sensor as well so I don't max out.

Different dyno spits out different numbers for the same car.

Hello everyone it has been a while since I posted here. I have been saving some money to start installing an EWG system in my car. Looking forward to seeing any benefits, if any, that happen. When all is done and retuned I will post up new results, thank you for any supporters that I may have out there. Hopfully it will not be long before I am on the track competing.

Is it me or does that hp curve seem kinda peaky?

Also, don't switch Dynos. If you are satisfied with your results then keep using the same stretch of road and the same software. If you don't you're going to lose all functionality of the dyno (tuning and comparison)... and you also won't be disappointed if you were to see your "real" dyno numbers. Which are almost always lower than hoped for... like 99.9% of the time.

Yeah I actually was playing with the timing a little so now I went back to where I was and it keeps hitting consistently. It's not all over so that makes me feel a lot better. A few other tuners I talked to said my numbers are t to far off cause the fmic gives these cars good power. I feel it too its amazing how fat my car just up and goes. I love driving this thing it's like no one can keep up, lol.

just downloaded and looked at the TTDyno software, not a fan. Uses just Time, RPM and Speed to calculate HP. Then it has you guess the drag coefficient and drivetrain loss and some other parameters. I use Virtual Dyno. Although no virtual dyno program is perfect, at least having the built in profiles for all the different cars makes comparing your car to others a little more on-par.

DrewsWRX do you have the settings you used so I can try and compare my car?

Yes I do, I'm at work now when I get home I will post all my numbers and post my data log if I didn't get rid of it. Also if I can't find that then after my retune I will make sure I post everything. I didn't realize I would need to keep my datalogs. I always reset them cause Tt will not read from cobb ap only the logs from ATR. So after I put logs into software I save my dyno info and delete logs. Ill try to retrieve them from my hard drive and email anyone who wants them and when I retune for ewg I will make sure I keep all logs and email anyone else who wants them. I get out around 3pm est

I just want everyone to know that I didnt just copy specs off of VD or just some website. I did my research to be as accurate as possible. I want my numbers to be real not just big. even if it only spit out a 310 I would be proud cause I did all of it myself. I take a lot of pride in what I do and I like my work to be done right. And the main reason I dont keep logs is after so many pulls you lose track of which ones are which. Anyway, like I said when I get home today I will see if I can locate the log if not you all will get the log of my retune and for the ones who want the data I used I will post that tonight as well. Thank you to all who are taking interest in my thread I really appreciate it.

This weekend the 28th and 29th I will be upgrading my uppipe and wastegate to an ewg. I will also be adding GS's 8mm spacers to tgv and deleting my tgv's. Then I am adding my new GS AOS and retuning my car. I can't wait to see if my numbers go up down or stay the same.

Awesome setup by the way as well as on the numbers. I'm also contemplating on going ext on my bigger turbo setup but I'll probably tune it on internal first to see if I experience any issue with creep before upgrading since ext setups are $. So I will keep an eye on your thread to see what kind of gains you get with the new upgrades. For tgv detetes I tuned my friends sti with basic stage 2 and it needed a bit of enrichment during early start ups.

damn, i gotta hand it to you. you don't see many people doing all the modifications to their car AND tuning very often.

do you have an engine build in progress? and hows the clutch holding up to all that torque?

Engine build is planed for the future and the clutch is holding good for now. I haven't really been beating on it. I'm actually in the middle of an up grade this weekend. Ewg, removing air pump and a Grimmspeed AOS. Then a little retune. I am also in the middle of talking with a local vendor for sponsorship. They made me an offer and I sent my proposal in just waiting to hear back so wish me luck. Thank you for your compliments I'll make sure I keep this updated because I'll be racing time attack soon and I will also be going to a lot of shows.
