Calm down. They sent you the wrong dyno file. Just ask them to double check and send you yours. Certain, Simple, and easy.

P&L has a really good reputation in the Subaru community. Hopefully you get everything figured out.

I got my car back from the tuner and they emailed me this dyno sheet. These numbers are seriously high, right? I've been a Honduh guy for years and this is my first Subaru so I'm not the most well-versed in their power/torque potential. But comparing to similar results on this forum, I say BS. Thoughts?

LOL

I tuned the car for you Corey. I'm sure Dylan just sent you the wrong chart as that looks nothing like a td04 car. Some times charts get put into the wrong folders due to the work load during the larger tuning sessions, on your particular day I tuned 8 cars so I am sure an accidental mix-up happened.

I ran your logs through virtual and they came up to roughly 250-260whp and 270-290tq. I also verified it by looking at the boost curve and IDC. I will call Dylan tomorrow and make sure he sends you the right one.

Quit worrying about dyno numbers. If the car feels better to you and you are happy with it, who cares what a piece of paper says about it. And like previously stated, if you want something reassuring trap speeds are your best bet. They'll never lie.

I appreciate that, Jr! I never doubted you guys, I just wanted to understand better. I'm honestly just learning about Subarus so please bear with me, everyone. And I do realize that you guys were extremely busy at that time. I have been so swamped at my own job that it took me this long to even begin to figure this out. Thanks again! And P&L deserves recognition for getting my car tuned so quickly despite some mechanical issues that happened during that time.

That is the laggiest td04 i've ever seen! Looks like they sent you the wrong plot.

It still seems you dumped on your tuner publicly before you even asked them. You made some nice compliments here, but to start this thread without contacting your tuner is proof of your doubt. You did it in a harsh way.

Are we reading the same thing? He came here asking questions about something he thought looked off and never bashed his tuner. He was right.

Yeah, he didn't bash the tuner it all. It seems more like he came here for reassurance that he wasn't incorrect in thinking this was the wrong file before going to his tuner and potentially looking stupid.

The man paid for a tune and dyno plot. He should receive both. End of story. Even if the tune is spot on, he is also entitled to the correct dyno graph. Don't bash OP for requesting what he paid for in a polite manner. He even admitted he was new to this stuff and learning, etc.

well, in his first post, his words were at the very end of his post... ".........I call B.S." meaning he was calling BULL 5*it. Seems like pretty harsh words to me. Maybe we were reading two different first posts?

While I have your attention, is there anything you look for on dyno charts that flat out tells you they're wrong?

Is there a guaranteed range of RPMs that the torque curve is relatively flat (so the engine is a torque/force source rather than an RPM source)?
I couldn't nail down any benchmarks from dyno graph images on Google.

TIA.

There is no problem here. P&L to the rescue!

Now you will have to post your actual dyno plot when you get it.

On a side note, amending the OP might be a good idea so people don't continue to talk about the wrong graph.

The most I have made with a tdo4 in the last 12yrs was 280whp on meth. That car trapped 112mph. A 50-75shot would get it over the 300 mark, but the turbo would likely die quickly
