Thanks for making the video!
I already have GoPro mounts in the car. I just wasn't there with my cameras. If I'm not there next year you'll be all set. They're front facing on the front bumper, rear facing just above rear windshield, and there's a rear suspension angle on the frame rail.
I use a roll cage mount inside, but that doesn't get left in the car as I use that in whatever car I'm filming.

Just a few updates

After winning the Canadian Sport Compact Series championship in 2012 we are back at it again this season with the first 2 events in the books and we took 1st back on June 2 and took first again today at event #2.

There are 2 more events to go for this season.

The class that I run is Super Street Power Adder and we are restricted to a 10.00 second index so the boost is down from 30 psi to around 20psi to get us in the 10.1 range.

I have ran 9's with the car in 2010 2011 and 2012 so after the event today we turnd up the boost to keep the 9 second season streak going.

We got one pass in before they shut the track and i got a 9.71 at 145.8 mph
with a crappy 60 foot of 1.58.

So the times arent record setting but I thought it was worthy of mention that subarus can run consistantly for many years. This motor that we are using has been in the car since Nov 2011 and the one from 2010 & 2011 was taken out for inspection and rebuilt and is my back up now.

a shot from June 2 event at cayuga (TMP)

Jason (driver of this car) won every race this year and already clinched the Canadian Sport Compact Series 2013 season drag racing championship before the end of the season.

He's still on the same engine from 2011. We'll pull it this winter to replace the bearings and check everything over.
This isn't an exhibition car that can't fit in normal classes and it didn't make this power one time.
It's class legal and it goes down the track every time unlike so many 600+ HP cars I see in this forum which seem to be broken far more than they're working. This is what I'm most proud of.

At 20 psi it runs 10.0-10.1s all day with Jason letting off at the end of the track to avoid running a 9. At the last event he ran four 10.1 passes in a row and did a good job at the tree which led to a lot of head shaking from the other guys (mostly turbo Hondas) in his 10.0 index class.

At mid nines (or 10.0-10.1 on low boost 20 psi for Super Street class racing) it's not the fastest Subaru in the world, but I'm proud of what it does especially considering the limited budget.

After tying for first place in 2011, winning in 2012 and having this season already won I wont lie but its kinda cool having a target on your back by the Honda boys.

Theres usually a couple real good new cars/drivers show up for the last event of the season. We'll see what happens on Sept 22 at the final.

Good luck at the finals Sept 22, seems like you have your setup dialed in very well though~

Great car, especially one as consistent as this. Well done.

Yup I know some new cars will be coming out to take a shot at my car on the road course too, but just remember...we both already won season championships. Of course we'll still try to win. It would be awesome if both of us won every event all season.

Is amazing how much the stock subaru case can take with a good tune.

As far as I know there are no plans to do anything that would make the car quicker or faster since he's winning all the events as is.

Here's a picture from a charity event we go to:

Ya Perrin Big tube header was put on the car back before the beginning of the season. And it was done only because the header on my street car broke so I put the drag car header on it and needed a new one for the drag car so we went with the big tube one (I don't like spending money I don't have to lol)

That and the addition of air to water set up has made the car very consistant.

It runs consistant 10.1 s with wastegate boost pressure which is around 20 psi

Mike I told you don't post pictures of my wife online ;-)

lol. No offense to that model, but she probably won't age as well.

I'm going to run a few laps at TMP this afternoon to make sure some new plumbing for my dry sump and power steering we put in my car yesterday won't leak and we'll see you Sunday for the race.

I think I am going to go with the big tube header.... it seems that my setup is chocking somewhere.

What rods are you guys running?

When I bought the regular perrin headers a few years back I spent a couple hours porting the connecting flanges so there was better flow.

The big port headers already have that done from the factory, I brought my grinding tools to Mikes shop and opened the box took a look at them and no porting was required. A better product for sure, well worth the money.
