Looking good RWU, i love white Subarus. Sorry i did not realize you posted that earlier.

I would contact ISC and let them know the noise and assumption its Coil Bind. I believe they will send you new thrust bearings as well. Take note you will have to pull the coilover off and disassemble and put back together. This requires another alignment... which is why i am content for now to not hear the noise anymore and replace the part in the future. According to ISC coil bind will not cause any damage so i am content for now.

Btw what did you set your dampning too out of 32?

Yeah I'm going to try greasing the area you mentioned and see if that takes care of the issue. If not i'll contact ISC and deal with installing the new thrust bearing if they end up sending me a replacement. As for dampening, right now I'm set at 10 clicks from soft in the front and I believe 12 clicks in the rear. I think I may go slightly softer in the fronts...maybe 8 or 6 clicks.

I started off with 16 from Soft.. and it felt to soft. Everything is personal experience but considering the street setup at max clicks is the softest setting of the track setup i figured i would play with it.

I ended up with 24 on front and 26 on rear... its a world of a difference. I love it but hate it at the same time driving around NY/CT area. These roads suck unless you go further up. I am still playing with the settings and may soften them up a little.

Good luck with your hand.. i mean lube job.

If you want to repack your thrust bearings with grease you can do so without needing another alignment by simply:
(having the vehicle on jack stands or on a lift)
Dropping the top assembly of the strut down while keeping the bottom mounts attached/ installed.
Take off the top 19mm nut then the 3 12mm ones that hold the plate to the vehicle, the thrust bearing comes right off as you pull the camber plate/ top plate off.
Clean it and re grease it once a season or so (in more moderate climates this often not needed)
Put everything back together
Jack the knuckle assembly back up until the strut is back in it's place and tighten those 3 12mm's and the 19mm.
Hope that helps/ makes sense!

What is the difference between your springs vs swifts? What would the end user experience between them both

There's also a larger selection of spring rates available from Swift.

Well, it's been a while, but here's the latest.
Had ISC coil overs purchased from AJW Performance installed by Pure Performance. Street/Sport version. I think that's 8k/6k.

So far so good. No noise. Ride is decent. Need to dial it in a little more due to a little bit of bounce in the rear.

Have it down about 1.25"

Been tweaking the suspension since i got it. I must say i love the fact that its so adjustable but i hate it as well lol. Every weekend i tweak the dampning and i finally had a chance to drive it on some mountains roads this past weekend. Had it on 24/24 and was content but not super happy. Pulled over at a scenic road stop and turned her up to 32...wow what a difference. The car felt AMAZING.

ISC or vendors, anyone know if there is a middle of the ground setup? For example Street sport 32 is 1 on track right? Is there anything that is in between?

The stiffest on street sport is the softest on track race.

Glad you are happy with them!

Anyone cut the bump stops on their fronts? I went a little lower and now I'm getting some hollow clunking noises over uneven surfaces... never happened before that so I'm assuming that's the issue?

I tried going to the ISC store but it's down. Do you guys sell the allen-key screws for the rear top mounts?

Putting together a strut a few months back I think 2 are coming loose make a clunk in the back. Thanks?
